Personality
To put it bluntly Malak is a sociopath. He will not hesitate to kill someone if they get in his way. Having said that he isn't blood thirsty. He can be friendly, he can joke around and he can be your best friend. On the outside he can appear to be a great guy. But it's just a mask he puts up. Beneath it all he feels none of the emotions he portrays. He seems them as only a means to an end showing a cold intelligence behind his actions.

Fighting Style
Malak does what he has to, to reach his goal. If he has to blow his way through ten people to do so he will. He approaches each situation with an open mind. Picks the method that will suit it best, and does what he has too. He has no mercy for those he faces and expects none in return.

History
To say Malak is a criminal is completely true. Assuming you go through the effort to check his background you will find a long history of violence. Born in Serbia he left to fend for himself at a young age. Having little other choice he turned to thievery to survive.
As he grew older his actions escalated. He learned the hard way, that the only winner was the one who survived.

At this point in his life violence was one of the few things he excelled at. Becoming a gun for hire seemed like the next best thing. Their were plenty of people who had a cause and needed able people to fight for it.

At the outbreak of the Federation and Zeon war business boomed like never before. But Malak felt better money could be made elsewhere. This thought propelled him to find his way to space, where he continued to look for work.
