It's slowly coming to my attention that the next two weeks are finals for a lot of people.
I'm wondering, if a lot of people are too busy to play for a bit, if we don't want to pause one of those May weeks, or maybe do a couple weeks of only having two updates. We also might not want to do this, since we just had a huge break, but if a lot of our planners are too busy to plan, I don't mind the delay.
Thoughts?

I'm worried mostly for the writers and heavy planners, not the players. As a player/planner who's out of school, I have no problem with gunning ahead through the next couple weeks, if the writers and planners are fine with it.

I am Nader, and I support this message.
As you already know, I won't be able to write in the next week, but after may 5th, I should be able to.
My main issue is not finals, but more so papers (I have a shitload of them). Thats going to occupy my time this Thursday to Wednesday. I'm of course going to study for finals, but I'm not AS worried about them as these damn papers. My finals are the 11th, 13th, and I think 14th (Have to double check on the last date). Then my last final is actually a take home I get on the 5th.

I'll be at SERE training for a month starting Monday. I should be able to maintain at least some semblance of activity until they send me to the field. A break would be somewhat helpful for me though.
But I'm not a huge factor in either planning or writing, and I know there are probably several who are frustrated with the slow pace we've had recently.
So my vote, if there is one, is to just keep pushing, unless there are lots of others who could use the break.

I have finals next week on Monday and Wednesday and will be moving back home for the Summer on Thursday. I would be able to send in actions but will not be able to do as much planning as usual.

I'd rather not pause myself. Though if enough of the writers want to I understand. My Finals thankfully end Tuesday.

The way I see it, since we are paused for today, we need to finish off Week 18 before going to Week 19. My birthday is also next Thursday and I'll like to relax.
So I propose we finish Week 18 on Monday, then do the first half of Week 19 on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Thursday and the weekend I can then chill, get drunk, etc. Then the following week do a two day update to finish off Week 19. Then the week afterwards we go back to beating each other in the face.

So I propose we finish Week 18 on Monday, then do the first half of Week 19 on Tuesday and Wednesday. Better idea: do the first half of Week 19 on Wednesday and Friday so Ket can have a day to do the Weekend Update and you can still enjoy your birthday. |
