Strategy for those of you who are interested. You Orange Base People are free to choose your own plan of action once you get down.
New York Strategy 5/20/10
Services: -2x Artillery Support -1x Flight Support (Don Escargot)
Primary Goals -Destruction of Zeon land ships and MS -Prevent Zeon forces from retreating in their subs
Air Strategy: Jim Irwin will lead allied Tin Cods in a battle for air superiority. Once air superiority is achieved, Tin Cods will switch targets to the fixed enemy defenses such as AA and SAM Units. Don Escargots will be hunting enemy subs and MSM, supported by our Fly Mantas and Scott Archer(Core Booster) that will be looking to target any enemy MSM that should surface to attack our Snails. Our Medeas will stay away from the battle and focus on refueling allied aircraft.
Ground Strategy: Our two artillery supports will target the enemy land battleships and MS strong points.
The Big Trays Big Sioux, Fury and Renegade will stay back to provide artillery support while the Big Tray Paragon advances with the attacking force. I would like to leave 1 squad of infantry on each Big Tray to prevent boarding actions while the other squads deploy to assist the Type 61’s as they advance. Infantry will act primarily as spotters for our tanks and MS to counteract the fog and locate enemy positions. Type 61’s will advance towards the enemy position and will be led by Cray Vermillion. Type 61’s will be supported by our land based MS. Most PC MS will be in this group.
Thierry Mersalut and the two NPC Guncannon HDT’s will assume positions along the shoreline to assist our Don Escargots in hunting Subs and MSM with their ASROC’s. This group will be supported by a small defensive force of 6 Type 61’s who will target any MSM that attempt to flank the Guncanons.
Orange Base: Will be orbital dropping. Primarily interested in land based targets.

Wait, I think I'm a little out of the loop. The Orange Base is orbit dropping the Zeeks attacking NY, right? So, I should send in a strategy for myself once I get down there on the ground, correct?

Either a GM Command or a lvl 2 GM CCT, those would probably be your best options just be warned that whatever you buy may not survive the battle.

Taking the GM Command since it is space capable if it survives. That'll give us more to work with if something unlikely happens while in orbit.
