Yay, two PC kills and no one died! (Except for my pseudo-death for having too much VP, lol...)
I think we should overwatch for a day to repair since that would fully heal almost all of our ships, we can then try to break out tomorrow. Orange Base can join the fleet and we can make a run for South America. Since their PC's are so banged up I don't think they would attack again immediately tomorrow.
I can see them buying a lot of stuff and sieging us tomorrow so we will have to be sure that everyone buys stuff for the fleet, mostly MS. Fortunately, a lot of our NPC MS survived while a lot of their good ones died so we should be in pretty good shape.

I agree with the Overwatch strategy, though we could probably try to sneak some people away where he isn't looking, if we wanted to.

Here is my suggestion:
We move the 42nd and 87th along with Orange Base to North America today, (minus the hogan which will be sent back for repairs) All forces will then group up and move to the Atlantic the day after that.

Question: I think maybe the fleet page just hasn't been updated in a while, but is the 42nd really just sitting over in the atlantic? They probably don't have enough firepower to save the day against 10,000 RP worth of shit but maybe it'd be enough to let us slip out. |

Yeah, safety in numbers... I forget, can they buy stuff and attack with it in the same update? because if not, that gives us about a day of wiggle room.

Could we do that? I mean, it'd be risky, it might just be surprising enough. The 87th disperses, most PCs go off in different directions, a few stay on the Orange Base to protect it while it makes its escape. Meanwhile, maybe the 42nd makes a diversion or something.

I don't know if it would work today, because most people have sent in orders. But we should keep that in mind, the PCs would generally be safe anyhow, but more of our ships might make it out alive.

We will have to see what tomorrow brings.
Ket may or may not let the fleet disband before engaging in combat anyway so who knows.

Kind of late but, didn't Ket disallow those kind of fleet joining/leaving shenanigans? You know the space guys abuse that sort of thing all the time. Either way It's a good idea if we can do it.
