Just a little point of interest: with 10,000 RP, we could buy fifty-five Doms.
That means 110 Goufs. That means 220 Zaku IIs.
We can't even afford places to put those on, but we have the resources for that.
Now, what I'm thinking. We've been going about this war all wrong. We've been trying to win the air war. Let's face the harsh reality: We can never, and will never, win the air war. We just can't put up the numbers they can. Especially when, let's face it, they have two ace pilots as players.
We've been ignoring the advantage we do have. Mobile Suits. Every week, we've been purchasing MOAR DOPPS! because we wanted to beat Tin Cods. But say we did? What the hell are Dopps going to do to MS, especially considering that the Feddie PCs are all basically in Gundams.
They. Are. In. Gundams.
A Dopp ain't gonna do shit.
Instead, let's re-supply the Fleet. We pick up 1 Gaw, 2 Dobdays, and maybe 2 Gallops to support it. That is a combined arms fleet. Total cost: 3640 RP.
With the remaining money, we load it up with Doms. 30 Doms. That means there is absolutely no room on the fleet for PCs.
My proposal, which will require a lot more coordination. No PCs go onto the fleet. We each remain separate, and every day the fleet moves, we all send actions to travel to the same destination/be in the same action as the fleet.
First of all, it means that the enemy has to choose to engage one PC at a time, or the fleet. And that also means that the each of us, when it looks like an enemy fleet will engage, we all engage it, along with whoever controls the fleet.
We'll be bringing to bear multiple MS, as well as several weapons that can damage the heavy luna titanium armor.

I think we should put together an action plan to foil the Federation fleets. We need something that can knock out their Pegasus - a real ship killer. If we kill the ships, the NPCs wont matter. Anybody have any ideas?

Retreat to California and regroup from there. I vote we repair, restock, and move from there. I want to send STFU and a small PC force with them to take out Rio and hopefully run distraction for us, while they hold the EFGF's attention, I want to invest in fleet to move on Torrington to, 1. clear Orbit and make it easier for SAF to assist us, and 2. steal nukes...

Might also wanna take out NY so they can't contest NA so easily.

I actually agree with the strategy of buying Mobile Suits. We're pretty much fucked every turn in the Aerial War, and Tin Cod's cant really hurt MS Can they? Im fuzzy on that, I cant remember.
Plus we could get some Zakus, which should be pretty good at taking down aircraft I think. Even if they suck against other MS that Machine Gun of theirs would work good at knocking the Feddie flies down. I think.
PS - Holy balls I posted.

I think taking NY should be a TAF priority. We only have two continents as it is; if we let them contest this one so easily, we'll lose soon. As well, I worry that Orange Base will alternate from orbit to orbital attack, following us around the earth. The 87th and 42nd are predictable and can be dealt with - Orange Base is a wild card. It is for this reason that I think all available resources should be sent to destroying it outright. After the destruction of Orange Base, we should take NY. Does anyone support me in this?

What's the purpose of having two threads? @_@
Anyway, I'll just support a Rio De Janiero attack then. Do we have dates on the Torrington assault or Rio attack?
