First off, the promotions. This month has basically been characterized by Zeon kicking ass and taking names, despite their failures at Odessa. They have taken a situation in which EF had the momentum both on Earth and in space, and turned it around in both sectors. It remains to be seen if they're doing enough to turn the war around, but at least for this month, only Zeon players will be getting promotions, and here they are:

And now, the demotions. I think this may be the most demotions I've ever given out, nearly one out of every two of the RPGs members. I've noticed a number of things in doing this. I am demoting 26 people, and 8 of them are people who post on the forums regularly, but never post in the side forums. Most of these 26, with a few outliers, are also fully active when it comes to sending emails.
I think what I'm noticing here, both for Federation and Zeon but slightly moreso for Zeon is that officers are not encouraging input amongst their members. You guys have all gotten into a system where officers make all the rules, demand RP transfers every week, buy everything, and regular members just sit on fleets and participate in battles. I see EFGF orders go out every day where 10+ people's orders are "hold position" and this makes me kind of sad. It is not the best way to strategize, and it is not the way the game is intended to be played.
It is the officers job to make sure your members are having fun and inputing things properly, and I hope these demotion lists wake you guys up to the names of people you are not including properly.
