We got a lot of demotions. Some of the players are inactive, some don't really check the boards regularly, but the rest do, but just don't know how to contribute.
We talked a lot earlier about splitting into groups of PCs (more than 2 - the 42nd and 87th). Is this idea still tenable, or have we moved beyond it? Can we accomplish things in groups that we cannot accomplish together. Do we want to involve more people in the planning? If so, how can we? At this point, Feyd (87th), Jojo (42nd) and Blackmage (space) do most of the planning. You ask for input and give us a lot of freedom to work out our own ideas; once again, we appreciate it.
I think the 42nd and 87th (and BOLLOCKS) work fairly well, and we worked together to take New York, at least, but I think that we could work well as individual units, too, coming together to cooperate on larger events like base attacks, etc. The team on Orange Base is a good start, and a good example of what we could strive for with other teams, I think.
Mega-fleets are okay situationally, but they limit our flexibility and earth territory coverage. Plus, they make clusterfuck events for the writers more common, which are no fun to write and often don't give characters the writing space they deserve. I think we can do better.
