My name is Esther MacKernan and I am a Lieutenant Colonel in the Duchy of Zeon's Mobile Assault Forces. I am one of the highest ranking officers remaining on Earth, and as such, I have assisted Standartenfuhrer Brennan in his costly campaign to defeat the Federation's forces.
The withdrawal from New York was an unfortunate disaster. We lost many good men and some very fine machines. I fought on the ground through the advancing forces of the Federation, and possibly thanks to your assistance, was able to come out on the other side alive. For this I am very thankful.
We, however, have business to attend to:
It has come to my attention that Captain Knight owes you payment in the form of four Zaku Cannon units. I am somewhat appalled that he went above the heads of his commanding officers to set up this agreement, but in light of your fulfillment of the terms and valuable assistance to our force, I am willing to allow the transfer of these unit under the condition that you report to California Base to receive them. Captain Knight will personally be seeing that you receive the units once you arrive.
If these terms are unsatisfactory, I'm afraid that you will be out of luck.
