The footfalls of boots clipped softly against the steel flooring of the Mad Anger-class Pendragon. He was flanked by the pilot of his Acquy, Master Sergent Yuri "The Axe" Kolsk. Alec Irusk was by no means overwhelmed by the latest development in the Zeon war effort, and for once, felt more at home in the war than he had in the Xamel.
Maybe it was because the navy was in his blood, or maybe because the way the war had changed, he had been far more effective in the Z'Gok E since the transfer. Orders had been issued by the Schtuzstaffel, and while not his favorite branch of the ZMF, they were superior officers, and thus had to be obeyed.
The doors to the bridge opened, as Irusk's eyes gazed over the command crew working. He had of Marina Nimue by name only, but had been briefed on what to expect. Her efforts in the war certainly helped her reputation, and it was to be considered a pleasure to serve under a decorated officer.
Even if she was younger than he is.
"Ma'am, 2nd Lieutenant Alec Irusk reporting." He clicked his heels as he saluted, Yuri following suit.

Oh great... another one...
Marina rolled her eyes as she could hear the footsteps enter the bridge behind her. The young captain was hunched over a pile of maps, folders, and various orders and reports; now she had another TAF soldier she had to 'babysit'.
Upon his introduction she turned around slowly, her hair falling in her face as she did. The petite Schutzstaffel commander's ice blue eyes stared up at the new arrival from underneath the cascade of her bright blonde hair. With out saying a word, she tucked her hair behind her ears, not taking her eyes off the two new pilots assigned to her fleet.
"Welcome Aboard Lieutenant..." She returned his salute and nodded for the pilot to at ease.
At least this one is more of a professional...
She cringed at the thought of the other TAF pilot she had been carting around with her since Odessa, Gil Krundle; what a disgusting individual.
Shaking her head clear of the horrid Grabro pilot and his drunken antics, she casually walked around the table. She returned her eyes to Alec Irusk, as she slowly took a seat in her chair, a Panzergrenadier on each side. The intimidating SS Shock troopers dwarfed the young captain as she flashed an eerily innocent smile.
"You come highly recommended, 2nd Lieutenant Irusk. I just hope you don't end up disappointing me..." Marina spoke softly, her cold blue eyes staring through the MSM pilot, her smile fading, giving way to a more serious look. She had learned from experience it was hard to count on any of Garma's 'boys'.

"I don't expect to disappoint, ma'am." Her smile was alarming, almost as if she were about to tell some sweet story, but instead is something more predatory. She knows she was in command, and Irusk knew where the command chain lie.
While he reported to Garma, she was the eyes and ears of Gihren Zabi, high commander of all of Zeon. While he would never endorse the tactics that some SS officers had been known to use, they were brutally effective, and he had to give that credit.
His shoulders relaxed as he placed his hands behind his waist at parade rest, "The Axe" following suit. While Alec maintained his focus on Marina, he chose to focus on the goings ons of the bridge. Far more a command post than a warship bridge normally is, it sends a clear message.
From this point, battles will be won.
"You're reputation precedes you, ma'am. I'm a fan of your work, especially from what I was able to see during the New York operation. When I was told of this transfer, I have to say, I was a bit surprised that they would want me directly under the auspices of the Schutzstaffel." His eyes quickly took a glance at the two panzergrenadiers in their full armor. If he were a Feddie soldier, he was sure he would be soiling himself at the sight of the black-armor and intimidating presence.
Can't say that terror tactics never worked. "You'll find that my team and I are best used as the surgical tool we are designed for. Deep strikes from the depths. I've had to re-learn a few things, coming from an artillery background, but war does force evolution. And I hope that here, we can force a few Feddies to extinction..."
A small, slightly wicked smile crossed his lips, as thoughts of destroying those who destroyed the Hagia Sophia came to his mind.
