"You simply must rebuild it quickly, the moral of my unit depends on it," demanded Nigel as he stared at the gathered scientists and mechanics who were the pride of the Earth Federation's research team at Jaburo.
The scientist in charge looked at Nigel and nooded, then began to speak, "Your majesty, we are doing it as quickly as we can, we simply..."
Nigel couldn't stand excuses, not now he needed Marion more then he had ever known and it simply was not for combat. The 'faerie' in the mobile suit kept Thorvald in one mental piece and since she went silent after the battle, Thorvald hadn't seemed the same.
"You do not understand sir, I need the faeries or spirits or what the hell you have ever put into that machine working again now," demanded Nigel at the group, who seemed somewhat confused by the entire ordeal. "The moral and mental well being of several people under is determined by that damn thing."
The lead scientist was about to speak up, but suddenly realized that Nigel didn't really want or need to be correct about it not really being a faerie, and instead just nodded and said, "We will see what we can do."
It was all that Nigel really wanted to hear and walked out of the hanger where the parts of the Blue Destiny were scattered all about he had one other important thing to check on and she should be coming out of surgery soon.
"Is she out of surgery yet?" questioned Nigel as he burst into the room where Aurem and some of the others were waiting in a white waiting room full of gloomy faces. Even Max seemed to have emotion as he sat with a frown on his face in the room. It made Nigel's stomach turn as he waited for someone to respond, praying that no one was about to give him bad news.
