Rem climbed out of the Powered GM cockpit, taking the opportunity to get a bird's eye view of the Albion's hangar. Several Mobile Suits from the various Medea search groups were loading up to continue chasing the enemy. Normalsuited pilots scurried about their machines, one in particular leaning head-first into a GM II's cockpit, her behind he couldn't help but recognize.
"Molly!? I didn't know she was a pilot..." He thought, wishing they were in zero-g right now so he could simply float over to her. That thought, however, was interrupted by the memory of Colonel Reece and the ultimatum she gave a week ago. Rem didn't exactly mind the condition placed on him in exchange for not being brought up on charges, or worse, learning just how much wrath the petite Colonel contained.
"No man, those balls are totally busted..." A mechanic's voice in the distance snapped Rem from his thoughts, presumably talking about Mobile Pods that wouldn't be added to the Albion's combat compliment. Rem chuckled to himself, "Yeah, totally busted." He thought, turning away from his view of Molly's rear, and lazily wandering out of the hangar.

He ended up following a few pilots to the mess hall, and found himself sitting at a table adjacent to them with a plate of food. The cooks on the Albion seemed to love piling on the carrots, which Rem now toyed with, rolling one around his plate with a fork before stabbing it. "That kid Kou always seemed to hate carrots," Rem thought as he chomped one in half, "almost like he was scared of 'em..." Rem couldn't help but wonder if Kou might've lived, had he stopped worrying about his food so much and spent more time training. His bored musings were drowned out by the din of the pilots at the next table, arguing something about Zeons. "I'm tellin' ya, it's him!" One pilot exclaimed. "No way man, Hey Sarge, whadda you think?" His buddy replied, nodding in Rem's direction. Rem shrugged, "What do I think about what?" "You know, the Nightmare of Solomon!" The first pilot said, Rem didn't know these two, but they seemed to be fairly green and way too excited. "That's who stole the Gundam, it's gotta be!" Rem shook his head, "We're not fightin' bad dreams here kid." He started, but the young pilot cut him off. "I'm talkin' about Gato! Y'know, the Zeon ace from the war? He's even in the modern warfare textbook back at the academy now!" Rem took a drink of water and replied, "Can't say I've read that one, besides, what difference does it make?" "Well Sarge he's only like the 2nd most famous Zeon ace ever," The second pilot began, "I'm bettin' he bought it at A Baoa Qu, but if it is him, man, I dunno. Do we really have what it takes to bring him down?" Rem stood up, a looked down at the two pilots as he spoke. "Like I said, what difference does it make? War's not like a one-on-one fight, we'll have ever gun we've got aimed at that nuke, and it's not like we're all rookies here either." He didn't like the idea of ganging up on one guy like that, but the whole nuke thing did make it a bit more important than just beating the hell out of the guy. "If it comes down to it, I'll take him on, need to pay that asshole back for Torrington anyway." He said, walking away as the other pilots held in a laugh. "Hey man, you think he could actually kill a guy like Gato?" The second pilot asked as Rem left, and thus their argument continued. ~ A few minutes later, Rem returned to the hangar, only to find the GM II and it's pilot gone. "Hey, where'd Mo-er, where'd Lieutenant Kawaguchi go?" He asked a nearby mechanic. "Huh? Oh the GMs?" They were just here for a quick resupply, took off along with one of the Gundams... Unit three I think, they're goin to Africa or somethin'." The mechanic replied, ignoring Rem's sigh of defeat and returning to his work.
