Technical and Historical Data
The colonies may have been all but obliterated during the One Year War, but those that survived grew a tough skin and earned their place in the Earth Sphere. Though very few have the capability for a large-scale military force, many have specially trained police who act as a deterrent versus possible terrorist attacks, riots, or small-scale military incursions. These soldiers, since they operate within confined colonies, are adept at urban, house-to-house warfare.

Though not as well-equipped as any of the bigger militaries in the Earth Sphere, Civilian Guard still maintains a relatively diverse stockpile of small arms. The squad proper protected with Kevlar armor, and is armed with combat knives, pistol sidearms, grenades and rifles. Certain soldiers in the unit will carry bazookas, grenade launchers, mortars, and machineguns.

Many militaries have employed Civilian Guard, including the Riah Republic and Republic of Zeon, due to a recent civil unrest.
