Technical and Historical Data
Towards the end of the war Zeonic, Zimmad and Pezun were hard at work trying to design the second generation mobile suit that would win the Duchy the war. Zimmad rolled out the Gyan, Zeonic the Gelgoog, and Pezun the Galbaldy Alpha.

While the Gelgoog eventually won the contract, there was something to be said about the Galbaldy Alpha. The Gelgoog was heavily customizeable and very high performance, but in its base configuration the Galbaldy was equal in most respects. Its only striking difference was its special model shield, which mounted its own missile launcher.

Only a few prototype Galbaldy Alphas were made during the war, and it wasn't until the Federation started fueling money into the Pezun Project that the Galbaldies saw the light of day. It was then that Pezuns design team came out with the Galbaldy Beta.

The Galbaldy Beta was in terms of speed, power and weaponry very similar to the Alpha model, but brought in several new age technologies. The brand new magnetic coated joints and panoramic cockpit monitor set it apart, and made it very powerful in the hands of ace pilots.
