Technical and Historical Data
The GP-04 Gundam Gerbera was the final slated unit of the Gundam Development Project, designed to be an all terrain use, high speed fighter equipped with many close range armaments. However, the design was "fatally flawed", or at least that was the memo sent to the Earth Federation. As a show of good faith, Anaheim completed the design under the model number AGX-04 Gerbera Tetra, and sent the prototype to the Delaz Fleet.

The Gerbera Tetra mounted many of the design improvements that came standard on Gundam Project units. Reloadable beam weaponry, beam resistant Luna Titanium armor codenamed "Gundarium", a panoramic cockpit, magnetic coated joints, and enough speed to put even high end Gelgoogs to shame. In addition, the Gerbera Tetra equipped one brand new noticeable feature.

A large booster rocket installed on the back called a Sturm Booster set the Gerbera Tetra apart. It operated under its own fuel capacity, and used a fuel mixture designed for battleship use. While its combat operations time was limited, the Sturm Booster made the Gerbera Tetra the single fastest and most maneuverable unit of the 0083 era. When its fuel capacity was depleted it could be jetissoned, reducing the Gerbera Tetra to mere Gelgoog Jeager level speed.
