Technical and Historical Data
The GM Custom and GM Quel were the first mobile suits in a long and impressive line of designs created for the Earth Federation by Anaheim Electronics. Externally identical and with only minor inner differences, the GM Custom and GM Quel are essentially identical, the Custom used by the Earth Federation and the Quel used by Anaheim Electronics to defend its own interests.

Latest in a long line of impressive high quality designs, the GM Custom is comparable to the Federations late-war GM Sniper II, though its intended combat role is much more generic. The GM Custom is fast and maneuverable, and can operate well in most combat environments. It can sport the standard GM machinegun, high end beam rifle, as well as a new model rifle designed for sniping enemy mobile suits at longer ranges.

This model is the current favorite amongst Federation ace pilots. However, like most higher end models, its high cost makes it prohibitive to deploy in large numbers.
