Technical and Historical Data The first member of the new Gundam Project, the GP00 "Blossom" was designed with many things in mind, but after many test runs became a long range reconnaissance and anti-ship sniper unit, modeled after the old GM Snipers from the war. Like all Gundam Project designs, the Blossom is fast and maneuverable, although it is comparatively the slowest of all four Anaheim Gundams. It sports the incredibly durable Gundarium armor, Magnetic Coating, Core Block and E-Pac technologies, making it a step above other mobile weapons in nearly every way. Apart from that, the Blossom has many features which make it a powerful sniper unit. Originally it carried an extremely powerful beam cannon on its back, but due to numerous design and reactor constraints, this was later removed in favor of an artillery range railgun, capable of firing shells accurately as far as fourty kilometers away on Earth. This is coupled with a sensor suite called the Minovsky Particle Interface Wave Searcher, an extremely powerful magnetic resonance sensor that is capable of accurately tracking targets even in a Minovsky Particle battlefield. Aside from these deadly armaments, the Blossom can arm anything expected of a Gundam, from beam sabers and vulcans to the Zephyranthes special beam rifle equipped with anti-beam coating armor, which can be used to block melee attacks in emergency situations.
