Technical and Historical Data With the somewhat surprising success of the Guntank Massed Production Type, the Federation set out in work of a newer upgraded model. While it is mounted on a more or less similar chasis and has the same speed and armor, the Guntank II has a seriously upgraded weapons array. Its two standard shoulder mounted Howitzers have been backed up by a new artillery use rocket launcher, mounted on the Guntanks left arm instead of the old close range machinecannons. To compensate, a group of grenade launchers and an anti-infantry machinegun have been added. The Guntank II's armament has been improved in every way. Still an artillery unit, few Guntank II's see use in the field. They were only in the prototype stage during the end of the One Year War, and following the war there was not much need for artillery.
