Technical and Historical Data One of the first original designs created by the Republic of Zeon after the end of the One Year War, the Regelg was a second generation Gelgoog, modified and seriously improved by the forces at AXIS. It retained the impressive thruster arrays of high end Gelgoog models, but had a significant overhaul in armor plating, especially around the shoulders, precluding the need for a cumbersome shield. Its armament was also improved, with a pair of grenade launchers in the arms, followed by a new model Beam Rifle with an attached grenade launcher, giving it a host of medium range explosive and beam weaponry. Finally, an enlarged backpack was added, equipped with guided missiles and extra propellent tanks for longer engagements and deep space missions. The Regelg was a very impressive design, considering that it was built with limited resources in the far flung barrens of the Asteroid Belt. Image Gallery
