Technical and Historical Data
In order to catch up to Federation mobile suit designs, multiple Duchy based manufacturing companies tried to make a working prototype beam rifle. While Zeonic was hard at work on the Prototype Gelgoog models, the Pezun Project rolled out the Action Zaku.

Performance wise the Action Zaku was not too special, with about the thruster capacity and armor of a Zaku Kai. However it featured a much more powerful reactor, as well as the ability to use a full powered beam rifle. The Pezun beam rifle design would later be used on the MS-14 Gelgoog. It could also equip a short range gatling gun for close quarters combat, dubbed a "Bullpop Gun" by Pezun scientists.

While the Action Zaku was never mass produced, it did quicken the development of Zeons beam weapons program, and a small number of units were produced to defend the Pezun asteroid itself.
