Without hesitation, Ball Punion drew a sword and began looking for trouble, his crew eagerly behind him all the way as they ran randomly throughout the village. Most people didn't give them a second look; they'd been putting up with the ridiculous man who would be Village Chief for years and this was hardly the strangest thing he'd ever done. The search quickly turned up someone whom was an enemy to the state as Ball Punion saw it: Old Man Jenkins. "Men, attack!" Ball ordered. "Knock him down!" The pirates charged forward, roaring valiantly with weapons drawn. Before Jenkins' pets could stop the attackers, the scholar chose to deal with them personally, sending a scorching Smog into their midst and burning their skin before raining pieces of jagged ice on them with a Frozen Mist spell. "This plan did not work as well," Ball noted. Gritting his teeth, Ball charged forward and put Gordon the Gorilla-Bear in a headlock, slamming the beast to the ground as Maxwell Wiggington Von Bear raked his claws across the chief's back. Forcing back tears of pain, Ball tossed Gordon aside and stood tall and proud before punching the bear in the snout. "Thanks for getting that little itch for me," Ball boasted. "It was bugging me all day." Before Ball could let loose with another one-liner, he was suddenly hit with a spray of painful pellets, Old Man Jenkins' buck shot spell. Ball Punion fell to the ground, landing painfully on his back as the scholar strode forward with another spell in hand. He muttered arcane curses, gathering spiritual power to his palm when the pirates quickly returned and tackled Jenkins, taking turns punching him in the face or hitting him with pieces of food. "Good job, boys," Ball congratulated. "Mission accomplished! Now loot that guy and let's go get a drink." Outcome: Village Chief Ball Punion is triumphant.
