The sun shone brightly in the sky over the mountains as Dismas Agamemnon and his two guards labored away in a rock pit as a large bird, the craftsman's Chocobo mount, watched on with disinterest. The two guards grumbled mildly as they swiped sweat from their brows. For a moment, the small of the two, Dionysus, was going to complain, but a sharp glance from the skull mask of his employer sent him back to work. A shadow passed over the group for a moment, giving them much-needed shade for an all-too-brief time. Ugogh raised his arms into the air and bellowed with rage, demanding the shade come back and bring him relief. His wish, unfortunately, was answered. The shadow returned in the form of two large birds, gleaming armor hurting the guard's eyes as he watched them approach. Their wings suddenly lit up as built-in machineguns began peppering the guard as he ran for cover. Unfortunately, there is no cover in the middle of an open pit and he quickly dropped to the ground, bleeding but still breathing. Dionysus began hopping about, tossing obsidian stones at the oncoming birds. The projectiles bounced off their metal skin, but they turned away for the moment. Dionysus quickly gave Dismas a thumbs-up, pleased with his efforts until he was suddenly hit with a blob of robotic bird poop, the metallic feces striking the back of his head and knocking him out. Dismas pulled out his Wyvern Ruby and sent a plume of flame spiraling into the sky, striking one of the Storm Sworders in the chest. The other, undeterred, dove for the craftsman and fired its guns, though the shots ricocheted off the man's legendary armor. The Chocobo was frightened by the battle and began to run away, drawing the birds' attention. Their squawked at each other, clearly planning a coordinated strike. Then they decided a fancy attack wasn't worth the effort and simply strafed the bird, knocking it to the ground. Dismas sent another fire spell into the air, clearly more capable than his servants had been. For now, the birds fled, leaving him alone to haul three unconscious creatures to safety. Outcome: Swormsworders are triumphant.
