Jenkins sat on a log near his fire contemplating his next move,

He had just been beaten quite badly and he needed to start from scratch. No more trying to build up the village, No more stints at trying to run a store, No more ruthless assassinations for petty rewards.

As his thoughts traveled he heard disturbing news from travelers passing by

"So how about that strange cloaked man eating that bear back in the village"

"Aww that was a shame he looked like he could have been quite a companion"

"Yeah, It made it even worse that he had a cute little tie around his neck, It made him look like he was a business man"

"Well thats the owners fault for leaving him in the gutters that cruel asshole"

Jenkins stared into the fire, He knew his companion had just been eaten. A small felling of grief overcame him as he knew that he had abandoned him in the village and it was his fault that he was now dead. He also realized that now the farmer who was going into he village to look for him would never find him and probably just take his other bear as compensation.

After he settled he then decided to send a letter to the man who found him the bear, the horse obsessed farmer Scarth. Jenkins pulled out a piece of paper and began writing

Scarth Maheart
- I am sending you this letter to inform you that the once lively and business savvy bear you had found for me is no more. It has come to my attention that during on one of my runs out to the farms he was killed and eaten by one of the ruthless villagers. I will be coming to meet you in the near future to discuss terms for purchase of a new set of animals. I will also be open to a retaliation attack planning if you are so interested.
- Old Man Jenkins

After the letter was written Jenkins mutter an incantation. The letter then folded into the shape of a bird and took flight in the directing of the mountains.

From within his hovel etched in the mountains far outside the village of Eco, Scarth Maheart was in the middle of collecting breeding material when one the mountainfolk interrupted him.

"Um. You said you name was Scarth... right?" the mountainman said, staring in a mixture of disgust and curiosity at what Scarth was doing.

"Indeed. Why? Has that tyranical dictator Ball Punion visited town? Or is there an angry goat causing trouble?" Scarth continued at his task as he spoke. His business was very time sensitive, and he couldn't simply stop to chat.

"Well. You got a letter. I sort of opened and read it... looks like some bear of yours got eaten, and the owner expects a replacement." the man explained, tossing the letter on what served as Scarth's table, a large flat rock.

"Ah." Scarth paused. A sudden sadness overtook him, just as it had Old Man Jenkins upon hearing the news. "He was my finest creation you know, after Muffins here. That bear and I had many an adventure before I left the village of Eco. Oh, how we used to laugh as we foraged the farms for honey, or when he processed my tax returns for me."

Scarth finished with his collections and turned to face the man at last. "You wouldn't happen to have any female ursine in this mountain, do you? I've got a pair of tiger testicles, a bucket of horse semen, and a dream that could get this hovel on the map!"
