Convoy Ahoy!
Seito Kusanagi wipes the seat from his face as he watches the convoy on the first leg of its journey. The cross hair for his weapon is centered on a Zaku mobile suit. Its mono moving back and forth as its pilot searches the jungle surrounding the road. From his position on a mountain Seito is able to see most of the road from here to the base in the far distance. He keeps his eye on the convoy. Never letting his attention waiver from the convoy. Always focused.
"Lead we have a contact approaching the convoy from down the road." states a voice in Seito’s headset.
Seito nods and moves his rifle to look down the road. He easily spots a single Zaku I walking down the road armed with a bazooka.
Single Zaku I. Bazooka. No other targets sighted." states Seito as centers his cross hair on the Zaku I’s cockpit.
The two Zakus guarding the convoy move to intercept the single mobile suit. Seito listens with half his mind as one of the pilots orders the enemy mobile to identify itself and stop where it is. The Zaku I ignores the orders and raises its bazooka and begins to aim at the Zaku II JC. As it fires so does Seito. The Zeon Zaku II easily dodges the clumsily aimed bazooka round while the Zaku I isn’t so lucky as a beam blast cuts through it. The mobile suit falls backwards and Seito curses to himself as he notices his shot was a bit off. It barely missed the cockpit but it still got the job done it seems. Nodding to himself he goes back to watching the convoy.
Outcome: Convoy protected.
