Onogoro Island

"All the way this time."

"All...The...Way."

The young girl clutched the controls of her newly repaired Mobile Armor, giving it a small prep talk as the air raid sirens sounded once again. Once more, the inhabitants of Onogoro were shuttled to the shelters and once more the words of her co-pilot sounded off behind her.

"We've got a green-light. We have forty minutes, as usual."

"It'll be more than enough." Fuuka said with a hint of confidence as she adjusted her flight suit. It was different than last time, the flightsuit bore the markings of the Imperial Japanese Colonial Forces, rather than the IJA. Officially, Fuuka was just on loan to the Earth Forces in that regard. There was no need for the Apsalus in space, however, and thus the co-operation of those two divisions created her current situation. But it wouldn't last.

The Minovsky Drive hummed to life as the Mobile Armor slowly exited its storage space. The massive Mobile Armor once more slid out into the hot sun as Fuuka checked over a list with her co-pilot before they both brace themselves. Once more the ground seemed to ripple beneath them as a shockwave blasted out from under the Mobile Armor which was projected up high into the sky. A loud bang tore through the air was they broke the sound barrier and continued climbing. Finally the Mobile Armor reached High Atmosphere as it had on previous test flights.

This time the Mobile Armor set about it's flightpath as usual, with minimal system complications in the process. The massive Mobile Armor wasn't finished yet as Fuuka gave a little smile and pressed the acceleration harder. Once again the Mobile Armor tore through atmosphere until finally it broke free of the chains of gravity, the massive Mobile Armor now floating above earth.

"Look..." She said softly, hitting a button that caused the Camera's to expand as the Apsalus turned sideways and back toward the planet, providing a stunning view. Behind them, a large ship signaled "We made it..."
