When asked to test a prototype mobile suit Michael readily agreed proving to be quite the man for handling the new model with shocking ease. When asked to test out the mobile suit's agility, Michael did some daring acrobatics and nearly forgot to breathe.

This wouldn't be just any test today as the Overflag flew into the designated flight area. It would be a trial by fire.

"Commence operation," came the order over all intercom units.

The Overflag tore through the sky and Halley barely had presence of mind to yank the stick to the left as a blistering hail of chaingun fire filled the skies where he once was. His system whined out an alert and the pilot hit the throttle to break the sound barrier. The loud crackboom echoing through the empty sky even as missiles gave chase. Chaff and Flare dispensers whirred and let fly thankfully causing the first missile attacks to explode harmlessly.

"Gotta thin out this herd," Michael growled out as he was thrown back into his seat and thumbed the trigger to his system transforming to mobilesuit mode and began a free-fall. With the help of the AI Michael quickly lined up the Overflag's Linear Cannons and a trio streak of gleaming shots left the barely savagely ripping right through one of the Aries'.

These men were desperate...men who were offered a chance to be forgiven for military crimes if they bested the Overflag today.

The other two Aries' pilots thumbed all their missiles and the AI whined out an alert as Michael quickly transformed to mobilesuit mode and fired the engines to full power dodging a few missiles but was struck hard by the explosion of multiple missiles right near his mobilesuit going off.

"TAKE HIM DOWN!" a Union Flag got over zealous yanking out it's plasma blade and rushing towards the Overflag.

"GOT YA!" he yelled even as a trio of linear shells left the Overflag's rifle ripping right through the mobilesuit's missile pods and triggering a premature detonation and destroying the Flag.

The Overflag got rattled by chaingun fire as the Aries gave chase once more. In high-speeds the Overflag gave Michael an edge but the damage sustained by the attrition battle was starting to effect the prototype. Still he managed to defiantly destroy another Aries this time by using his own missile pods.

Another Flag charged in this time it's legs were blown off by the slightly off mark linear rifle shot but the mobilesuit was still in largely one piece.

"SHIT!"

Michael couldn't pull away in time as the Flag slammed into his suit sending the two hurtling into the sand below. Michael being whiplashed and knocked about as consoles exploded around him and the system went dark.

"ABORT OPERATION ABORT OPERATION GET A MED-TEAM DOWN THERE NOW!" came the yell from an observing officer.
