Midori Murakami sighs as she takes in the view of the ocean around her. The wind is blowing stiffly, keeping the air cool. With no cloud in sight Midori decides it is a beautiful day. But her eyes narrow as she watches distant ships move by on the horizon. She stomps her foot on the deck signalling the rest of the people on the observation deck that it is time to go in. Midori made sure she was the second to last person to go back inside and she watched the last person seal the hatch.
She then makes her way to her command chair and sits down. “Prepare to dive to periscope depth. Then prepare for silent running.”
“Aye, Aye sir.” reply the various officers on the bridge as the snap to their work.
Midori looks around the bridge calmly noting that her people have become even more confident in themselves after the small battle earlier that day. She nods when her second in command reports the orders have been carried out. “Ahead quarter speed. Continue on patrol route. You all did good today.”
With that said she sits back in her chair and watches as the patrol continues.
