Elemental Ninjutsu
All the Katons, Suitons, Dotons and otherwise are listed here, with descriptions, game specs, and other stuff. All of this is Ninjutsu.
Doton: Doroku Gaeshi
One of the simplest of all Earth Jutsu, the ninja makes the appropriate hand seals and then grabs the earth at their feet. A solid wall lurches up out of the ground, able to stop a good degree of attack.
Doton: Dorudomo
A very difficult to combat entrapment Jutsu, Dorudomo encases the enemy in a gigantic field of earth, constantly maintained by the users chakra. The user can do nothing while the jutsu is in effect, but it will slowly sap the stamina out of all those trapped inside, giving it to the user of the jutsu. It is possible to break out of the Dorudomo by force, but the user can use his own stamina to increase the toughness of the wall, so it may be difficult.
Doton: Doryo Dango
Another simple Earth Jutsu, this can vary in power heavily based on the ninjas abilities. The user makes a few hand seals and then pulls up a huge boulder, held together with their chakra. They then throw this boulder at opponents, which can remain hard or break into smaller pieces as the user wishes.
Doton: Doryuu Taiga
An advanced and very quick Doton, experts will follow this up with the Doryu Taiga. It turns an entire area into quicksliding mud, this being usable to power other jutsu, or to sweep an enemy off their feet. It requires only a pair of hand seals to perform, and is easily followed up with other attacks.
Doton: Doryuudan
Requiring mud or earth to be cast, the Doryu Taiga forms the head of a dragon out of the ground, which then shoots a number of slingstone shaped missiles at the target. Quick and effective, this Jutsu is a staple of any Doton specialists ensemble.
Doton: Doryuuheki
A very advanced blocking jutsu, the user of the Doryuuheki makes the appropriate seals, and then spews a layer of mud from their mouth. A few moments later, the mud forms a gigantic wall that shoots into the sky. Much larger and stronger than the Doroku Gaeshi, this wall can stop all but the strongest of attacks.
Doton: Doryuu jouheki
This jutsu is very similar to the Doryuuheki, used for defence as well as changing the tactical situation of the battlefield. Using a huge amount of chakra, the ninja causes a hill to erupt from the earth, changing the actual makeup of the battlefield. Useful in mass combat, this is a very taxing jutsu.
Doton: Retsuido Zensho
A quick and very effective Jutsu, this requires few hand seals to perform. The wielder slams his hands on the ground when ready, and fault lines rip through the earth, destroying the ground and hopefully damaging opponents with a small earthquake.
Doton: Shinjuu Zanshu
A simple concealment technique, Shinjuu Zanshu makes the user disappear in a puff of smoke, hidden under the ground. They can move around underground as if they were walking on normal ground, and can only be detected by sensing their chakra. When wished, the jutsu's effect can be removed, transporting the user back to the surface.
Doton: Vado Kuzushi
One of the moderate Doton jutsu, Vadon Kuzushi is only usable in an area that is already craggy or mountainous. It causes existing boulders to lose their balance, falling and hopefully creating an avalanche to damage enemies.
Doton: Yomi Nuuma
A specialist Doton mastercrafted by Jiraiya, this Jutsu turns huge patches of land into a boggy, tarry, rock frog swamp. The size and deepness of the swamp is controlled by the caster, as well as it's thickness and shape, and it can be used very effectively to stop enemies in their tracks.
Hyouton: Tsubame Fubuki
The simplest and easiest of ice Jutsu, Tsubame Fubuki creates a number of ice swallows that fly at the enemy like shuriken, curving and turning to track their target.
Hyouton: Hyourou
A powerful ice Jutsu, Hyouton: Hyourou can only be used in a place where some ice exists. It transforms the existing ice into stalagmite crystals, shooting up from the ground. These can be used to defend or attack, and enemies that are touched will be encased within the ice, much like a prison technique.
Hyouton: Rouga Nagare
Another powerful ice Jutsu, Rouga Nagare creates a pack of ice in the shape of wolves, that dash at the target like an avalanche. Somewhat slow to get started, once this technique gets going it can become very powerful.
Hyouton: Kokuryuu Boufuusetsu
Working much like Suiryuudan, Suikodan and Ryuuka, Kokuryuu Boufuusetsu creates a dragon made out of blackened ice. However, this jutsu uses a large amount of concentrated chakra, and is much more powerful than its water and fire counterparts.
Katon: Goukyaku
A more damaging but still decently similar Katon, Goukyaku acts primarily like the Hausenka, except instead of a number of small, ranged fireball it creates one huge one that is slow and short ranged. Good for damaging an incapacitated enemy.
Katon: Hausenka
The simplest of all Katon, or fire jutsu, Hausenka is like most Katon in that it involves spitting fire from the mouth. In the case of this jutsu it takes the form of small, quickly used fireballs, that do small amounts of damage. Only one seal is required to perform this, and fireballs can be made for several seconds after.
Katon: Karyuu Endan
One of the most powerful Katon, this jutsu takes a large amount of stamina, but has the user literally blowing a constant stream of hellish flame over the targets. Only the most strong willed can take a hit from this attack.
Katon: Kasumi Enbu
A Katon intended to use before another fire Jutsu, Kasumi Enbu, rather than creating flames from the mouth, creates a mist-like blast of oil. This attack can saturate an area with flammable material, making the next jutsu that much more deadly.
Katon: Ryuuka
Somewhat different from other Katon in that it doesn't extend from the users mouth, this powerful jutsu forms a slightly defensive flame around the user, which after a second or so transforms into a dragon and flies at the target. A very powerful jutsu, this drains a lot of chakra.
Mokudon: Jyuukai Koutan
A rarely learned and somewhat hidden jutsu, the name of this means Nature Element: Birth of the Trees. Using chakra to create life from whatever vegetation is around, this skill literally summons a forest from beneath the target, destroying the land, hitting opponents with limbs, and entangling them at the very least.
Mokudon: Mokujoheki
Using chakra to create extremely dense wood, the Mokudon specialist makes an incredibly thick wall spring out of the ground. The density of this wall even surpasses that of the Doryuuheki, making it an incredible barrier against attack.
Mokudon: Shichuka
More of a technique used for convenience than combat, the Shichuka allows the Mokudon specialist to create an entire house out of wood. In certain situations, such as elongated missions in hostile weather, this technique can save the team a lot of grief and anguish. For combat however, this technique is only possibly as effective as the Shichuro.
Mokudon: Shichuro
Using both Earth and Water molded chakra, the Mokudon specialist creates a cage of wood surrounding an opponent. Made of hard oak, this barrier can defend against an attack or entrap an opponent. Like most wood jutsu, this technique can be extremely effective, but is more difficult to learn than similar earth or water jutsu.
Raidon: Ikazuchi and Raizo Ikazuchi
Using chakra to influence the weather, the user can cause an actual lightning bolt to be created in the sky, and crash down on the battlefield. Although extremely powerful and damaging, the chakra used in this technique does more to augment the weather than create the lightning, so aiming it can sometimes be an issue. Even so, this jutsu can cause incredible damage to a single target. Raizo Ikazuchi is a similar technique, but creates a severly large number of lightning bolts, giving a greater chance to strike targets.
Raidon: Raigeki
This technique wraps the wielder temporarily in a field of static electricity, shocking anyone who comes close to them. Depending on the power of the wielder, it can do anything from temporarily stun an attacker, to burn them significantly. Keeping this jutsu alive for an extended period of time takes an extremely large amount of chakra.
Raidon: Raikyu
After making a few hand seals, the user of this technique creates a ball of condensced lightning right before them, that they can push in any direction with their chakra. The ball will pick up speed steadily before striking the target, exploding in a flare of sparks and burning the enemy. This skill does significantly more damage than a Katon: Hausenka, but the seals must be performed each time a ball is created, rather than one set of seals be made for multiple attacks.
Raidon: Rairyu
One of the more complicated Raidons, this technique allows the user to create a dragon made out of lightning energy above their heads, and send it flying at the target. Somewhat like a more powerful Raikyu, this attack can cause significant damage.
Suiton: Bakusui Shoha
A quick way to get more water into the battlefield, this mid level Suiton involves a few hand seals, and then the user spitting a large amount of water from their mouth. This water expands into a huge wave, crashing over opponents and hopefully creating a bit of a floodwater.
Suiton: Daibakufu
A powerful attacking Suiton, this jutsu involves a few hand seals, followed by whatever water is in the area forming a cyclone around the target. This cyclone then explodes, causing a good amount of damage.
Suiton: Goshokuzame
An extremely damaging, high powered water Jutsu, it has the disadvantage of requiring the opponant be underwater to use. It summons five watery sharks which attack the opponent over and over, much like a giant hail of Suikodan attacks.
Suiton: Kaihodan
This jutsu molds chakra in the users mouth, allowing them to spit a ball of condensced water at their opponent. Usable in short or long range combat, this technique is quick to cast and causes a decent amount of damage, but is more used for its versatility than its power.
Suiton: Ozumatoi
This technique forms a swirling whirlpool of high density water around the weilders weapon, causing it to cause a good amount of grinding damage when it attacks. Weapons that try to parry this technique may be pushed aside in addition, making for a powerful augment to a wielders taijutsu.
Suiton: Suijinheki
A defensive water Jutsu, Suijinheki summons existing water into a whirlpool around the caster, guarding them from attack. A powerful jutsu, this compares with the Doryuuheki in size and blocking power.
Suiton: Suikodan and Suiryuudan
One of the quicker, easier Suitons, this and the Suiryuudan each form a creature out of water, above the head of the user, which then slams into the enemy. Suiryuudan is the stronger of the two jutsu, forming a dragon, while Suikodan forms a shark.
Suiton: Suishouha
One of the most powerful attacking Suiton, Suishouha shoots a huge amount of water out of the ground, having it come slamming down on the targets. It requires quite a few seals to perform, but once tise Jutsu is used it is quick and very effective.
Suiton: Takitsubo
Used primarily to surprise opponents used to linear combat, the Takitsubo creates water in the air, causing it to smash down on top of an opponent, damaging them severely. Normally a large amount of water is created this way, and its effects can be extremely debilitating.
