Karate Group Student Limit: 4 Techniques- Kyokushin: Meaning “ultimate truth,” the fighter focuses and concentrates his energies and abilities on his battle, creating a “mind of no mind.” Learning Time: 1 day, Prerequisites: None. Tetsui Otoshi Uke: A simultaneous block and attack using the bottom of the fist to smash an opponent’s head. Learning Time: 1 Day, Prerequisites: None. Nunchaku Blitz: A series of striking techniques utilizing the nunchaku. Learning Time: 3 Days, Prerequisites: Dexterity 4, Must Own Nunchaku Kama Parry: A variety of techniques in which the user blocks with one kama and strikes with the other. Learning Time: 3 Days, Prerequisites: Dexterity 4, Must Own Kama Mishima Hikari Judo Group Student Limit: 4 Techniques- Seoi-nage: Maneuver in which fighter throws opponent over his shoulder. Learning Time: 1 Day, Prerequisites: None. Tomoe-nage: Maneuver in which fighter grabs opponent and falls back, throwing him. Learning Time: 1 Day, Prerequisites: Seoi-nage O-soto Guruma: Throw in which fighter hooks his leg around opponents and throws him over. Learning Time: 1 Day, Prerequisites: Seoi-nage, Tomoe-nage Tanaka Sho Aikido Group Student Limit: 3 Techniques- Ikkyo: An arm pin or two focusing on controlling the wrist and elbow. Learning Time: 2 Days, Prerequisites: 2 Dexterity, 2 Wisdom Nikkyo: A simple yet painful wrist throw and armlock that can cause significant damage if allowed. Learning Time: 3 Days, Prerequisites: 3 Dexterity, 2 Wisdom Tenchi-nage: An extremely powerful and complex throw utilizing ki and body mechanics. Learning Time: 4 Days, Prerequisites: 5 Dexterity, 5 Wisdom Focus Ki: Concentrating and sending out one’s ki in an offensive or defensive wave. Able to knock back attackers from all sides. Learning Time: 5 Days, Prerequisites: 10 Wisdom Masatoya Kyosuke Iaido Group Student Limit: 3 Techniques- Tsuki Kage: A basic attack in which the user draws his sword from a low posture and rises, striking the opponent’s wrists as he attacks. Learning Time: 2 Days, Prerequisites: Must Own Sword, 3 Dexterity, 3 Intelligence Morote Tsuki: An attack wherein the user thrusts his sword into his opponent after having deflected a strike. Learning Time: 2 Days, Prerequisites: Must Own Sword, 4 Dexterity, 4 Intelligence Sodome: A technique designed for fighting up to three opponents while advancing forward. Learning Time: 2 Days, Prerequisites: Must Own Sword, 5 Dexterity, 5 Intelligence Tsuka Ate: A close range attack in which the fighter punches with the handle of his blade. Learning Time: 1 Day, Prerequisites: Must Own Sword, 3 Strength, 2 Dexterity, 4 Intelligence Masuoto Kagari Jiu-Jitsu Group Student Limit: 4 Techniques- Tekubi Tori: A counter technique to a hand grab, the user exerts painful pressure on the attacker's hand and throws him. Learning Time: 1 Day, Prerequisites: None. O-goshi: A throw similar to those found in Judo, the fighter bends and throws his opponent over his hip. Learning Time: 1 Day, Prerequisites: None Juji Gatame: A ground armlock, usually applied after throwing the opponent flat on his back. The fighter lies across his opponent and captures his arm at the elbow and wrist. If the opponent does not give up, the fighter has the option of breaking the arm. Learning Time: 2 Days, Prerequisites: 3 Strength, 3 Stamina, 3 Dexterity Sankaku-shime: A brutal and dangerous choke, often barred from competitions, the fighter forces his opponent into a “triangle” made up of his legs and one of his opponent’s arms. Although difficult to learn, once an opponent is locked into it, it’s very difficult to get out. Learning Time: 3 Days, Prerequisites: 5 Strength, 5 Stamina, 5 Wisdom, 5 Dexterity Kim Jong-il Taekwondo Group Student Limit: 6 Techniques- Axe Kick: Although it’s easy to see coming, this is a powerful kick requiring great flexibility The fighter whips his leg up and brings it down upon his opponent like an axe. Learning Time: 1 Day, Prerequisites: 3 Dexterity Spin Kick: A flashy, reasonably powerful kick in which the fighter spins a full 360 degrees whilst kicking. Learning Time: 1 Day, Prerequisites: 5 Dexterity Inosato Dan Jeet Kune Do Group Student Limit: 3 Techniques- 3-inch Punch: One of the techniques that make Bruce Lee famous, this attack uses body mechanics and timing to deliver enough force in three inches to knock an opponent back. Learning Time: 1 Day, Prerequisites: 5 Wisdom 1-inch Punch: A refinement of the previous technique, the 1-inch Punch does everything the 3-inch Punch does but faster and in a smaller space. Learning Time: 1 Day, Prerequisites: 3-inch Punch Fuyuku Hitomi Shaolin Group Student Limit: 3 Techniques- Lohan Emerges from a Cave: A powerful but easy to avoid lunging uppercut. Learning Time: 1 Day, Prerequisites: None Chain Punching: A well known technique from Wing Chun wherein the user launches several rapid strikes a second in a concentrated onslaught. Learning Time: 1 Day, Prerequisites: 3 Dexterity Teng-Nuo: A single technique with many variations, the basic version has the user deflecting an attack and using a quick front jump kick. Learning Time: 2 Days, Prerequisites: 4 Dexterity Butterfly Kick: An overly fancy, flying kick in which the user spins through the air, hitting three opponents at once. Learning Time: 3 Days, Prerequisites: 8 Dexterity, 4 Stamina Gasuma Ichiro Chi Kung Group Student Limit: 1 Techniques- Iron Fist: The classic Chi Kung technique, the first is conditioned and strengthened until it becomes almost like a heavy iron-bludgeoning club. Learning Time: 4 Days, Prerequisites: 8 Fortitude, 6 Stamina Dragon Claw: Similar to the Iron Fist, the student conditions his fingers and palms to be like a dragon’s talons, able to slash and hold on tightly. Learning Time: 4 Days, Prerequisites: 6 Fortitude, 8 Strength Iron Broom: Essentially the same as Iron Fist but applied to the legs, the student strikes trees and other hard objects repeatedly and conditions the shins until they’re like steel. Learning Time: 4 Days, Prerequisites: 6 Fortitude, 8 Stamina Natsume Maya Juken Group Student Limit: 1 Techniques- Forged Needle: The forte of the Takayanagi family, taught to the current head of the Juken-bu because of her close ties to them, is a remarkably powerful and difficult to learn attack. Utilizing ki, body mechanics and fighting spirit, it allows the user to not only deliver an incredibly strong punch but to project the force from the strike, up to four and a half meters. In addition, the fighter can actually shoot the force through people and objects, hitting whatever is on the other side. Learning Time: 6 Days, Prerequisites: 8 Strength, 6 Stamina, 7 Wisdom, 8 Spirit, 8 Dexterity Body Manipulation: One of Maya’s personal specialties, this isn’t an offensive or defensive technique per se. Rather, one can manipulate and shrink their body in any matter of ways, in Maya’s case, returning to the form of a small child. However, if the user becomes exhausted or sustains grievous wounds while in her shrunken form, she will return to normal, as fellow Body Manipulation user Isuzu Emi once found out in a duel against Maya. Learning Time: 8 Days, Prerequisites: 10 Intelligence, 10 Fortitude, 10 Stamina, 8 Wisdom Bob Makihara Juken Group Student Limit: 2 Techniques- Spinning Kick: A specialty of Capoeira, the user goes from a low, squatting stance to balancing on one hand, kicking his opponent in the process. Learning Time: 3 Days, Prerequisites: 6 Dexterity Reverse Spinning Supplex: Another move unique to Capoeira, the user wraps his legs around his opponent while balancing on one hand and spins, picking him up and throwing him. Learning Time: 4 Days, Prerequisites: 8 Dexterity, 6 Strength Nagi Souichiro Juken Group Student Limit: 5 Techniques- Bento Box Smash: On the surface, the fighter is just smashing his opponent in the face with a box of delicious homemade bento, possibly from a love interest. However, it is actually a much more calculated move: The rice gets in your eyes and makes it hard to see. Learning Time: 1 Day, Prerequisites: Must Own Bento Box Natsume Aya Juken Group Student Limit: 2 Techniques- Natsume-ryu Ken no Kata: The basic sword form of the Natsume family school of martial arts gives students a good basis for learning further techniques and introduces several different maneuvers for dispatching multiple opponents in rapid succession. Learning Time: 4 Days, Prerequisites: Must Own Sword, 6 Wisdom, 5 Intelligence Takayanagi Masataka Juken Group Student Limit: 2 Techniques- Shini Rikugou Batei Houken: An extremely powerful personal technique of the Takayanagi family, it requires a certain degree of emotional distress on the part of the user. Once that’s reached, the fighter gathers his strength and internal energy and leaps into the air to deliver a killing blow to his opponent. Learning Time: 6 Days, Prerequisites: 10 Spirit Isuzu Emi Enforcement Group Student Limit: 1 Techniques- Shadow Weapons: A special and feared maneuver, the fighter can actually make weapons invisible to the naked eye, store them upon his or her person and call them into play at will. Although in theory, there’s no limit to the number or size of weapons affected, you must be able to carry them on your person. So, while you could hide five hundred swords on yourself, you’d still be carrying them around. Learning Time: 7 Days, Prerequisites: 12 Intelligence, 10 Wisdom Tawara Bunshichi Enforcement Group Student Limit: None Techniques- Stinky Armpit Beam: One of the most feared attacks in the world, the fighter forces his opponent’s face into his armpit, which must smell particularly “fresh.” Learning Time: 1 Day, Prerequisites: None Sugano “Asshat” Kagesada Juken Group Student Limit: None Techniques- Beautiful Flash Technique: Only effective on women and homosexual men. The user gives a beautiful smile, which in theory should turn their knees to mush. In theory. Learning Time: 1 Day, Prerequisites: None. Sagara Pro-Wrestling Group Student Limit: 1 Techniques- German Supplex: Wrapping his arms around his opponent, the fighter lifts him up and throws him over his head. Learning Time: 4 Days, Prerequisites: 10 Strength Muscle Bomb: A specially designed technique equally potent for both defense and offense. The fighter contracts his muscles at the exact moment an opponent’s attack touches him. The result is that the force of the attack is rebounded back, delivering at least equal force to the attacker.
