Aisha was sitting at her makeshift desk looking over all the intel they had received. On her desk was a copy of the "Instrument of Surrender for the Independent Duchy of Zeon."
She read had read it over probably a dozen times since she received it.
But once again, she got up from her desk and paced around her small quarters.
Aisha sighed.
It was time to hold that meeting and finally get the ball rolling.

I think the price/composition of services like MS Support and Flight Support should change with the shop update.

I think one of the new adjustments to account for the creative ways of carrying MS (bolting and chaining them to the hull), is not counting PCs or their MS team as part of a ship's carrying capacity. This and the proposed "MS teams in space" can pretty much cover all of the nifty ways space vessels of a certain class can carry MS without dedicated space (or foot clamps). It also helps keeping track of empty MS slots better.

Is it possible Salamis Revised mobile suit carrying compacity be given another look? I recall reading somewhere on gundam.wikia(not sure if that is consider a trusted source) that it could carry mobile suits on its exterior(I can't recall the number). I assume with no modifcations.
Current changes look good BTW.

No real need to sneak into their service; they include a clause that all our personnel excluding the SS can join their forces after one year.

Akira didn't want to be bothered.
She just lay on her bunk staring at the encrypted message, reading it over and over again. It had come directly from the SS Command informing her of the situation. The war was lost, Gihren was a lying bastard, and she had no home to return to. Her family had already changed their names and were planning on exiting with Axis.
There was no support for her.
There was no surrender, either. No option at 'repatriation'. Which would really just mean being the Federation's lapdog anyways. Not exactly what she had been fighting so many years for. They condemned the actions that Zeon had taken, but was the Federation really in any position to take the moral high ground? These being the same people who had denied them their freedom, that had oppressed them at every turn. The movement for Independence didn't spawn from nothing, afterall.
Her SS Uniform was tossed to the side, she didn't feel much like wearing it anymore anyways. She wore a simple white-tank top now and standard fatigue pants. Not like there was a strict uniform code anymore, there wasn't even a Zeon Military anymore. What were her final orders? Hide, or die in honor. Great options, all things considered. Perhaps if her colleagues hadn't been so....rough, around the edges, she'd have had a chance at survival.
She'd heard about what had happened in the Asian Front. She can't say she was surprised about what was to happen to her. To be honest, she felt like doing nothing more than crying. All these years in which she'd confronted death head on, all these years she spent avoiding her own death, and for the first time she was genuinely afraid for her own safety.
The universe had just become a lonelier person. Her hand fidgeted with her pistol, eyes staring at the ceiling of the submarine. She wondered how many of the people aboard this ship would be willing to turn her over to the federation in order to get a better deal. She wondered would anyone really care if she just shot her self with dignity rather then face a Federation Military Tribunal, which would no doubt just be a kangaroo court.
Of course she was left out to hang. They needed someone to point their fingers at, they needed someone to shift all the blame off on. The SS were the easy targets. She believed truly in Gihren's ideals, but now her faith had wavered. They were beaten, truly beaten, and there didn't seem like much of a reason to hold resolve in those ideals anymore. For the longest time faith and conviction had been her sword and shield and now without those she was lost, confused, and afraid.
She, however, sighed as she set the firearm down and stood up. Her hand held the encrypted message up as her other flicked up a lighter. The message caught the flame instantly and crackled as it burned up and disappeared.
"Sieg Zeon..."She mumbled as she watched the emblem go up in flames on the message before pushing her self off the bunk and tossing the last of the smoldering letter into a waste in. Picking the weapon up again she holstered it before exiting out the small doorway of her room.
The mess hall seemed like as good a place as any to go at that point. The faces of the people she passed looked frightened and some even just looked confused. Other people had disregarded their Uniforms much the way that Akira had. Some had no doubt spoke of surrender, but she wasn't even about to try and find out who. Something about her had been changed by the surrender and the loss of everything she knew. She knew it wouldn't take long before the Federation would discover the SS Personnel Files, and on it they would find her. What good would it do to try and rally the troops? What good would it do to execute someone because they spoke of surrender, when her own government had surrendered and tossed her to the wolves?
She resigned her self to the Mess Hall, sipping quietly on a cup of tea as she waited. Waited to find out what would become of them. How long would it take before they offered her up, she wondered as her eyes scanned over the few remaining people in the Mess Hall.

The Federal Autonomous 87th Integrated Fleet is prepared to accept the surrender of any and all Zeon personel currently at Vladivostok in accordance with terms spelled out in the the recently signed Armistance agreement.
It is in our interest to avoid further bloodshed but any hostile action initiated by Zeon forces will be responded to with force.
Sincerely,
General Olaf Ostlund Commanding Officer: Federal Autonomous 87th Integrated Fleet

Without Services, it'll be tough, but we still have some fight left in us. The point is to break out before surrender tomorrow, move to East Arctic, build a mine, and go into hiding, to wait for Karaba.
Who knows, maybe sneak into Federation Service like Char did, to see the corruption from within.

Alec awoke early, far earlier than usual, inside his officer's quarters aboard the U-34 Avalon, something stirring him from his sleep. Nightmares and visions of friends long dead, and a war that seemingly had gone from something he truly believed in and wanted to wage almost indefinitely, to a burden that very few still could carry.
He hadn't shaved since the siege had begun, and he looked at himself in the mirror. No longer a vision of proud military heritage, but a war-weary and guilt-ridden commander. He had planned operations on Jaburo, watched as young men and women sacrificed their lives to the glorious cause of Zeon. But it had all gone to hell, and had taken it's toll on the man known as "The Warmonger". Just how long could they hold out? The only positions of power left on Earth were Kimberlite, a jewel in the South African Sahara, and Vladivostok.
And he wasn't all that sure about Vladivostok. Commander Antonov struck him as something of an opportunist, who would gladly turn the base over to the Federation, just to secure his own position. But he was also something of a decent pilot, and Alec could at least trust his skills.
He was startled by a rapping on the bulkhead door, shaking away his last remnents of dreams and sleep.
"Yes? Come in." His voice was hoarse, tired from issuing orders and dealing with the temperature in the arctic. The lieutenant in charge of the Avalon, Lt. Aurleon entered. She was a young Zeon officer, probably just straight out of the academy and sent to Earth to handle submarine warfare. She couldn't be older than twenty, but the war had taken it's toll on her soft features, as well.
"Sir, this just came in over the wire." She handed him a leaflet of paper, something of a tear in her eye. Alec gave her a questioning look, and took it. His eyes scanned the document, taking in every word for every possible meaning. His hands shook as he read it.
While peace was something he wanted, not like this. Not like this at all. Just what did repatriation mean at this point? How could Zeon succumb like this. While yes, being on the losing side meant reparations were due, the way they were being handled?
The Side 3 economy would be crippled. Independence would never truly happen. And even the articles concerning the SS. While he wouldn't mind seeing what would happen to the likes of Marina Nimue, Sebastian Brennan, and that horrible woman Raven Tarasova, his thoughts drifted back to Akira.
She was someone who he had known before her position in the SS. Just what would happen to her? Would she be branded a war criminal, just because of her rank? No, that wouldn't do. And this treaty just didn't seem right. The Federation would be just as bloated as ever.
"Thank you, Lieutenant. Prep the crew. We have work to do." Alec looked back at her, crumpling the paper in his hands and tossing it to the floor. While he was tired of war, he wasn't going to see this ship, her crew, and the pilots that he had left, be treated as second class citizens by the Federation. He was a commanding officer, and as such, knew what had to be done.
"I don't know how long this base will hold out, but we have to be ready, in case they come for us." He looked at himself in the mirror, and stood up straight. His hand reached for the razor. He was an officer, and he should look like it.

Not really sure you stand much of a chance without services, but if you can break out before the base surrenders tomorrow, more power to you.
Show em' what we've still got, man. Us spacers are pretty much finished.

Okay. This still applies for the siege today. Even now that Grand PLAN! won't work, I still want to Sally Forth. Yes? Yes.
