I feel that ambushing enemy PCs is a better idea than mass-duels, because if they fight it'll either be A) ambushing our PCs or B ) sparring with each other, possibly making them more vulnerable if they use practice weapons to keep from hurting each other.

Chan needs to post. Peeps from Granada need to hitch a ride.
Spider Zaku, Dom PTT and Proto G could duel before he picks us up.

I don't think we could. Re-entry and such.

We need as many people as we can get in space, not to burst your bubble. Given that one of our opponents is the RX-78-1, the Dom PTT and Proto-Gelgoog will be needed to either help us 'see' him coming or to best negate the Luna Titanium armor it has.
But yeah. The only unit capable of re-entering without the need for a shuttle or ship of some kind is the Gundam. Everyone else would either need a Komusai or...I'm not quite sure what the EFF would use without needing to have their ships land at a spaceport.

Mobile Suits in space can still fly and move (I think you can assume that Granada will launch you guys the same way Von Braun launched the Nu Gundam in CCA). As for reentry, I'll be more than happy to shuttle people to Earth but I want to do that after I finish preparations in space.

I thought (O) meant you could re-enter Earth's atmosphere and land at any spot on Earth as opposed to having to land at a spaceport.
Found this on the map page: "Players must be on a Compound equipped with a Spaceport to move from Earth to Earth Orbit, or moving to a Compound equipped with a Spaceport on the planet."
You don't need to be (O) to come to Earth, but you do need to move to a spaceport, which we have at Lhasa, Baikonour, California Base, and Kimberlite.
I think the Prototype Gelgoog and the Schneeweiss Dom should stay in space though. They both took the Space specialization, so they'd be at a disadvantage. Plus, the Schneeweiss Dom doesn't even have feet.

If you could stop White Base from coming to Earth, that'd be pretty helpful.

Earth Orbit Players must be on a Compound equipped with a Spaceport to move from Earth to Earth Orbit, or moving to a Compound equipped with a Spaceport on the planet. Space class ships can move to and from Spaceport equipped compounds, but they may not move to any other Earth locations.
I don't know if we have enough firepower to stop the White Base. Especially with our current VP.

Silly Dom PTT, come back up to space, what are you doing on Earth?
You don't even have feet.

On another note, there is the RX-78-1 and the GM Juggler at Green Noah/Green Oasis. I'm not sure about you guys but I'm not fighting two Gundams and a GM Juggler on my first sortie. Not to mention the GM-Es and GM at +2 Space.

Just so you know, you can move from space to a spaceport as just a suit. Verified in Chat.

I'm not saying you have to stop the White Base right NOW, but if you could slow them down whenever they do make an attempt to come back, that'd be awesome.
Speaking of that, anybody know what the estimated timeline is for the White Base to return to Earth?

Well, given that Paolo (White Base's original captain) is still alive, this game is starting around the time of/a little before the first episode of Gundam. Once Char attacks, I think there's a few more battles before they try re-entering.
Of course, at any one of these points there might be an event of some kind. Remember that the reason they land in North America is because of Char's attack...so...I'm not sure how we can effect what happens. If they land at Jaburo, which I believe was the original destination in-series...well, that's up in the air as to what might happen. The Gundam might get another pilot, or Amuro might stay on. We really don't know what will happen, and what effect we could potentially have on everything.
At this stage, it might be a bigger risk than is worth taking to get involved with any direct action against White Base, especially since both space officers have very few VP, and we'd more than likely run into interference from the PC Gundam, which would add to our problems.

The White Base was attacked the same day it was resupplying where it then fled to Luna II then goes into Reentry. I'll give that one week or two.
