This is getting more space than ground pounding in this thead, but...
I say let them ditch Amuro. PLEASE.
Also, Can you form a fleet of 3 ships for a patrol action to stop it's movement?

Ah, then that's definitely not enough time to prepare. Just curious!
Back to the ground game, the following units are currently located in East Asia:
Zeon - Zaku II S, Gouf, Dom, Zaku II K.
Federation - GM Ground Sniper, Tin Cod, Marines, GM Command
I'm thinking the best thing we could do week one is have 2-3 people ambush the GM Ground Sniper, with one other person ambushing the GM Command. I plan on buying a Luggun and a Zaku II J, so that should minimize the effectiveness of any counter-ambushes by the Marines or Tin Cod.
Thoughts?

If anyone solos the GM Command, it should be MyTitan (Noelle Everett) because his Dom is the best unit we have in East Asia at the moment.

I would agree, although I suspect it won't really be as much soloing as everyone ambushing and counter-ambushing each other.

Europe groundpounders should consider teaming up or moving to one of our bases. They have some tough Feds there.

Who are the feds in Europe? And sorry for lack of activity, outta town til wednesday, will be more involved with planning once I have access to a comp for extended period of time.

That officer being on the Medea makes me forget he's in Europe.
Yeah, they've got two GM[G]s in Europe and we've got a Z'Gok, Newtype Panzergrenadiers, and Marines.
If you guys think you could beat one of those, awesome. We need the marines for Malta though, so try not to get killed by demons.

Braddigan pointed out an interesting thing to me that we should keep in mind when purchasing a ship: while Dobdays can't cross oceans, there's nothing in the rules saying they can't go from Asia to the Americas via the Arctic regions.

A side note that I posted in Chat.
Keep an eye on Augusta. It has a space port which goes towards controlling orbit.
And I think most Zeek PCs would not mind having Christina Mackenzie a prisoner of war.
It has less of an air and naval presence than Malta, but it's staff is more experienced.
(Taking it over with the space port intact would double the number of orbital patrols we have.)
