ponytail to reduce interference with daily tasks. In all cases, he can
be seen wearing his flight suit, with side arm strapped to his chest

and is always welcoming of others.
Personality: Kobayashi Issa is a man of depth and quality of
character, sound mind and deft hands. He uses his keen intellect to
analyze a situation and react with cunning and speed. He has 20/10
eyesight, the strength of an athlete and the knowledge to know what he
does, when he does it, and how it will affect him. On occasion, he is
seen to obsess slightly with details. Issa tends to surround himself
with people of varied types to check his faults and keep him grounded.
Issa is always driven to succeed, there is no effort which he cannot
succeed at when applied towards it. This is the attitude that he carries
with him at all times, while initially it can be seen as cold arrogance,
most individuals warm to the idea of his capabilities, and trusting,
warm demeanor. Issa outside of the military realm will often be found
reading, researching and writing. His favorite hobby is taking a nap to
think on an idea, something that occurs with frightening frequency. He
is known to smoke and drink excessive amounts of coffee when the
situation permits a large amount of stress. Some of his only vices.
History: Kobayashi Issa, is a sort of varied individual. He grew
up with a normal childhood in Side 1's Island Blade colony. He always
excelled in academics', proving himself time and time again. Issa
normally spent time involving himself in the world of Physics. He
attended Cambridge University at the age of 17, attained his PhD at the
age of 21, specializing in High Energy Physics, focusing on his research
in compact fusion reactors. At the age of 28, after 5 years as an
Assistant Professor and Fellow at the University of Von Braun, he
accepted a contractor position working the Federations RX program. Since
the start of the war, Issa opt'ed into Military, enlisting with an
assurance that he would maintain his current job position. Through his
virtuous piloting skill in simulated combat and piloting drills he was
assigned to the RX program and given permission to pilot the (A) model
-1 Gundam He took his recent pilot training to heart and constantly
pushed himself to be the best he could be in the mobile suit. His combat
experience has been minor skirmishes and simulator time is all he can
claim, though he always has done well. Since the start of the war his
combat has been minimal, a minor action in the space outside Green Noah,
scoring his first kill on a Zeon Gattle, and subsequent Search and
Rescue operations.
