So basically we decided today that we will continue with the Malta attack next week, and afterwards rapidly move onto consecutively bigger and better things.
With that in mind, we (myself and Chris) would like everyone who wishes to participate in the Malta attack to please transfer any spare RP you have to him or I, and to begin moving to the Europe zone ASAP.
More details will become available as we iron out a plan.

Beat you to it. Already there and waiting. Here's hoping I'm alive/conscious for the attack. (Also, you have my RP).

I'm in France, ready and waiting. Might beat up that GM Ground Type while I wait.
Asides from that, I'm definately up for Malta.

Aiming for the attack to take place on Wednesday, which means that Chris and I both need to have our supplies bought in time to send the e-mail before Tuesday's update - after that update we should begin engaging in movements designed to have us attacking Malta on Wednesday and you guys will be able to send an e-mail to join up with us on Wednesday for the assault.
Still working out the kinks of the tactics / plans to be used and what we plan on buying, as soon as we work it out 100% we will let you know (hopefully by Sunday night).

Chris ought to have enough RP for a Jukon II by now and with luck, our coffers will swell even more if our inactive friends do get the axe. I'd rather see them join in, but I understand if they don't have time for OYW.
I'm planning on giving some RP to Braddigan so he can get a Jukon too. Hopefully he'll even be able to make it to Europe in time to help with Malta.
Gap: Are we planning on buying two Gallops or just one and filling it with troops?

So apparently it is now raining in Europe, meaning the following:
This could work out in our favor, as one of the biggest hurdles to overcome in this attack will their significant air presence. If we can turn this into primarily a mobile suit / tank contest, we should be perfectly fine.
Just so you all know, I'm currently trying to decide between a decked out Gallop, two empty Gallops, and a relatively decked out Gaw - mostly based on how we can best accommodate everyone. Here are the numbers for quick reference:
2x Gallop (1430 RP) Total hangar space: 2x infantry, 4x mobile suits, 4x mobile suits in secondary Hangar Note - These two Gallops could then be combined with Chris' Jukon to form a fleet, allowing us to buy support units of 3x MS and 6x Vehicles, bringing the total effective space for this operation (between just these two ships alone) to 11 mobile suits, 6 vehicles, and 2 infantry.
Gaw (1375 RP) Total hangar capacity: 2x infantry, 6 mobile suits, 6 tanks, 8 aircraft.
Hrm...now that I'm looking at it, I think the included support units with a fleet make the two Gallops the better option.

We should hold off on making purchasing decisions until after the Free-for-All results are announced. If one of us gets second or third, we could pick one of the ships and thus get our third ship for free.

Agreed. Wait for the FFA results.
However, I'm a fan of the Gallops. If worst comes to worst, and we can't fill them 100% (even with crappy weapons), we can shove a PC in there, especially if anyone gets ambushed Monday-Tuesday. PC may not be able to join in the attack if injured/damaged, but he/she can dump his/her MS team into the empty Gallop as well.

So, for those of us arriving on Monday, go on Overwatch, to prevent an ambush on us?

Yeah, what's the plan for us?
Overwatch? Scout?
Any ideas?

There's a Fed officer with a GM Sniper Custom in North Africa.
Depending on whether I win a FFA prize or not, I'll either ambush him or All-Range him while I'm passing through North Africa.
