EDIT: Just realized you are hitting RF-1 and that does have a fort attached.
Upgrading to a fortress is a good idea and either way we are going to have to task 2 or 3 people to defend it until we get our first shop upgrade with semi cheap GMs

All well, everything important survived. We should regroup in the Azores (it does have a repair bay) to repair the Medeas and see what happens, maybe try again.

Well looks like we are not very lucky! I'm sorry I must have jinxed it. Last run I got attack by like every patrol in North Africa at one time. |

Here was my first thought:
On Monday, I shuffle people off the Benedictus, repair the Flying Dutchman, purchase a new Medea B and repair the Flying Dutchman with it too. Purchase a new Tin Cod, everyone on board spars. Have people send me enough RP for another Medea B.
On Tuesday, use both Medea Bs to repair the Benedictus (One purchased that day). To repair the flying dutchman. Those in the spar repair for hopefully just one day.
On Wednesday, Feyd you will be repaired, and the ships will be repaired. We do another paradrop again on Wednesday.
This plan could be reshuffled with just replacing the Medeas and sending the damaged ones to the base to go get repaired, then flying in later with perhaps more forces (which we can't currently afford).
Thoughts?

If you try again, and you encounter that many patrols again, you' will probably lose the fleet unless you have a 2:1 ratio of tin cods to dopps or more. Ketara thought Chan let you off way too easy, and that "Dopps are way more than a match for a Tin Cod." Plus, you're giving a whole week for Zeon to show up in North Africa... Finally, you can only buy ships in friendly territory. I can't remember if we control Atlantic or if it's uncontrolled.
In my opinion, since you failed, you should modify the plan or alter it entirely. Don't smash your head on a wall over and over, it's perfectly possible you could lose a ship and every PC in it next time.

Thoughts? So it's going to take us another week to prepare? History is starting to repeat itself. Either way I suggest we take an over land route. Why? Because that way we can march with our MS and vehicles deployed and actually defend ourselves if/when we run into patrols. Yes we have to go through Europe but the Zeon doesn't have Gaws yet, lets hurry up and take advantage of this fact. |
