Operation “Shoryuken” or Operation “Uppercut”
We’re at the point where we are about to face off against the EFSF for the first time. While we have successfully completed our asteroid mining operation, we are still a week or so before the rewards start pouring in.
But fortunately we have a lot of Resource Points for us to make the EFSF lives miserable.
On Monday, I will send the Zeon Expeditionary Force to attack the 1st Independent Disco Fleet. With the 1,132 RP I have, I will be purchasing a Bigro Mobile Armor and a MS Support Service. Frenzy’s character will be purchasing a second MS Support Service.
So this is what I imagine the Order of Battle to be on Monday:
As you can see, the EFSF has a lot going for them. They have equal to our number of NPC mobile suits and player mobile suits. Ravage will arrive on Tuesday but hopefully Tuesday is just cleanup.
The EFSF also has a lot of stashed RP. The difference between us and the EFSF is that our RP is what we get weekly. Theirs have been collected over the past four weeks. So that’s pretty much all they’re going to have for a while.
They have more ships but two of them are damaged. They have more newtypes but we have the more powerful newtype. They have a Gundam but we have two Rick Doms and a Gelgoog. They have a ton of Saberfishes but we have a Bigro.
Our two fighting ships, the Musai and Tivvay, are also fast ships.
I think our best chances of victory are to destroy the Fuji, Columbus, and Salamis. This will disband their fleet and allow us to pick off the harder ships with ease. The way to do this is by a surprise charge at high speed at their fleet from below.
NOTE: THIS IS A DRAFT. THE PLAN IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE.
Objective: Destroy the Fuji, Columbus, and Salamis ships
Strategy: 1. The Pazock will stay far in the rear with two Dummy Balloons deployed by the Erinyes. This is to make it seem as if the two fighting ships are still with the Pazock. A MS Support Service will stay with the Pazock (the ship has 12x AA to protect itself from missiles and the three MS should be more than a token defense). After the scattering of Minovsky Particles, the Erinyes and Lucifer’s Fury will maneuver into position below the Disco Fleet.
2. The two ships and the Bigro Mobile Armor will form a battleline with the Bigro in front followed by the Lucifer’s Fury towing a number of ship dummy balloons. Behind the Tivvay will be the Erinyes towing more ship dummy balloons.
3. Under a cloud of Minovsky Particles, the battleline will charge the EFSF fleet from below at full speed. The antishop MA will target the smaller ships with its mega particle cannons while the two ships open fire. The Tivvay is in front in order to use its MS Catapults to launch at full speed into the enemy fleet. The Zaku II Fs are to stall the EFSF fleet defenders while the player MS use their heavy weapons to take out the Objectives.
4. As the battleline passes through the EFSF fleet, the ships will disconnect the ship dummy balloons. These will become decoys in the middle of the EFSF units in order to let the Zeon ships escape at full speed. The mobile suits will continue fighting until their maximum retrieval range from the ships.
5. The ships will reunite with the Pazock.
The plan isn’t elegant and is very risky. Ravage and his Braw Bro will be at our location on Tuesday so if all three Newtypes are knocked out, we’ll still have one left. We’ll also have money to restock on Zaku II Fs and another Bigro.
What this means is, I need everyone to transfer RP (Frenzy: whatever RP you have left after you buy the MS Support Service) to me on Monday in addition to joining the Zeon Expeditionary Fleet in its attack on the Disco Fleet.
Jim (pinksoyuz) asked me if Kuriboh can join him on his FTC ship. He said he had shenanigans to plan out for our attack on the Disco Fleet. I’m going to let him explain his intentions himself but I’m sure they’re good.
