you mean Side 1 in this case, and it would likely have to be a small team, sending balloons of themselves in multiple directions from each Side they stopped at in order to disguise their true destination.

No, actually, I don't think Side 1 would object that much, they seem to be kinda weak fags. Also, while balloons aren't expensive, they're aren't cheap, at over 100 RP a pop.

oh, well all the better then lol. Also the idea occurred to take out smaller targets by sending balloons to the obvious target of choice, then you actually going to attack the lesser target.

That is a fairly good idea. Also keep an eye on the account of owners of mines and stuff. If you happen to get to a place with mines when the owner still has 0 RP, that's a free ticket to attack it.

yeah I'd assume the best time to attack is almost always when the enemy's RP is low.

How long does it take to establish a base/build a new asteroid mine

1 uninterrupted turn. If you're attacked, the RP is wasted and the action is canceled.

Is it possibly to remotely activate a dummy balloon somehow (yes i know minovsky interference and all but theoretically)

Also, how much do we know about the prospective asteroids chan could use for mining facilities

Nirvash, you could possibly activate a balloon via laser signal, but you'd need line of sight.

I think this more relies on Ketara's input so I'll ask him eventually

Ok. Here's the thing that I'm worried about.
Let's not lie; Ball Buster operation has a very slim chance of succeeding, so we should start planning for when it has failed in a relatively realistic manner; Latooni is captured, GM juggler is destroyed, Marc Simmons and Cato Goloni return safely. Gwazine is disabled.
What's our next step then? Go after the mines? But while we go after the mines, what's going to stop Chan from going into our own backyard and destroying our stuff while we're destroying his? At the moment his fleet is worth more than ours, in a trade-off like that we'll lose.

We'd have to split our forces and so as to have a defense against Chan.

Yes, both a patrol fleet and a blockade fleet should slow his ass down. And we'd continue to buy reinforcements from Texas.

OKAY NOW THAT SEAN IS WITH US AGAIN (WOOO) OUR PLAN IS SUPER GO.
WE SHOULD CONSIDER FORMING THE KIRA YAMATO STRIKE FLEET FIRST THING MONDAY, AND MOVE OUR SHIPS TO 2E AND HAVE GO-TIME. RADUNE CAN SEE IF IT'S SAFER TO GO TO SIDE 2 OR STAY IN SIDE 6 OR MOVE TO 3E. SEAN AND AKU WILL TRAVEL WITH THE FLEET, HOOK UP WITH ZERO AND NIRVASH, POSSIBLY RADUNE, AND THEN GO TO 3E WHERE YOU WILL LEAVE ONE OR TWO SHIPS BEHIND ALONG WITH BALLOONS AND BREAK FOR L3 AND FUCK OVER EVERYTHING
HOLY SHIT GUNDAM'S BACK
