Again, Gap will issue specific orders to people, but I just want to thank everyone who donated RP for G-Force! We've got a lot going for Operation: Cold As Ice tomorrow.
1. We'll have 19 Dopps in the fleet and another 10 for services 'cause I'm starting in Friendly Territory.
2. We'll have a good, solid MS crew in the form of Spade (who just got Attacker specialization. Kudos), Ender, a quartet of Zakus I'm buying, and my own team. All in all, a Hildofr, a Xamel, three L5 Goufs, a Zaku Cannon, two Zaku 2 Js, a Zaku 2 F, and a Zaku 1. I'm hoping Ando Shoji and Marko Dresner will join the fleet too so we can have one of them as a ship captain for the Berkhalter and have Marko's L5 Dom join the assault.
3. The Apsalus is still in orbit! We can have it slag a lot of enemy defenses in its first pass, then haul ass for friendly lines while it charges for a second shot.
4. We've got some good ships too. Three battleships to bombard the base and the Zanzibar to launch a surprise attack with the Apsalus.
If anyone has any ideas for strategy, please let me know. I'll get a sort of Scorecard set up comparing us and them.

Awesome prep work, sir! -salutes!- HAHA, anyways. I think the obvious plan and everyone's pretty much on the same page is let Apsalus/Artillery do their job so we can move in. The best thing to do with our forces is to drawn out their ground troops to bring them in for our other MS to slaughter. That, goes in hand with the stay at long range until we can move in strategy. We got the right force composition for this siege, that just makes planning that much easier.

I've sent in the e-mail that my Decimator and my Xamel are going to concentrate our firepower onto the Hangar, and then follow that up by attacking the air-field, hopefully depleting their flight resources before the rest of the team gets into position.
If possible, we should work on getting marines onto the base, to capture that HQ.
Just to be even bigger threats. And, of course, take no Prisoners.

Lleu Law Gyffes is at Honolulu, isn't it? So it shouldn't factor.
b d to the idea of having Marko and/or Ando captaining some ships. With the Ship Captain specialization, will they still fight at full VP, even if their units are damaged? If so, stick them both aboard ships.

Even if Ando and Marko fight at half VP, it's better than what the ship's VP is. Kale: Didn't notice the carrier had turned around. Thanks. Ender: That's a good idea.

Vash: Just wait on the Liger. Once it's repaired, it'll move to the West Arctic. If you want, buy another MS for your team since the Liger can hold one more.

Hmm, while Xamel shells those, I could possibly take out the targeting facility and radar tower? Or maybe just focus on the 2 Large MPCs and the NEW MPC they've bought?

I'd say taking out the Targeting Facility early is a priority.

There's three parts to the plan currently.
1. G-Force bombards the base, doing as much damage as possible to unit facilities and, hopefully, their Large MPCs. Fighters will be held in reserve to counter enemy deployment. Lugguns will be on patrol to counter enemy ambushes.
2. Apsalus II performs its Orbital Drop, blowing up something important. As soon as something important, whatever it may be, is destroyed, it will retreat to friendly lines while its main gun recharges.
3. The Shooting Star will follow the Apsalus through the atmosphere and, while the defenders are trying to kill the Apsalus, will deploy Rhett Paruta's team into the base to hit them from behind. Rhett will then (hopefully) go on a killing spree resulting in numerous dead Blue Destinies and Medeas while the Shooting Star hauls ass for friendly lines and, hopefully, launches a couple of large rockets into something important.
This isn't precisely what will go into the e-mail, but only because I will edit things out like Rhett Paruta's killing spree.
