I'll try to call Suzaku and see what's up. See if I can at least get him to RP transfer.
Also I agree that building another base is a bad idea, just asking for it to be blown up again. And you can't really go after the Apsalus to cripple it until it finishes repairing or joins a fleet.

I agree with Feyds plan. New Amsterdam served its purpose but we kinda wasted the advantage it gave us. Yeah taking out the 9th was great but we could have planned a little better in order to make this lose a lot less painful. The best thing now is to just go on the offensive. We should also think about what happens after Archangelisk.
Is Southeast Asia HQ still a target for them? How do we keep the Apsalas out of this fight as much as possible?

Any one of our Fortifications is a possible target for them but I think it would be worth sacrificing one of them in order to take one of theirs.
Apsalas probably won't be much of a problem this week because it will take him 4 days to get to orbit unless he goes straight to Europe, he shouldn't be a problem.
If the Zeeks do pile onto Archangelisk we can always go with plan B and hit Vladivostock.

Can we come up with a ridiculous way to take it out? Like, maybe have some Medeas paradrop GMs onto its back? I'm kidding, partially, but I don't like our only strategy against the Apsalas being snipe-snipe-snipe, you know?

Just going off what nualex21 said, I think the lack of officer participation on the boards is hurting us. Sure they may be busy with their personal lives, but everyone is busy. If our three officers cannot comment at least once daily, then they should forfeit that role and let someone like Feyd take control of the EFGF.

The problem with the Apsalas is it always runs to orbit and is damaged a lot making it hard to corner.
Our best bet would probably be to have an EFSF Operation attempt to capture/destroy it in orbit or to to eventually take control of orbit. But the EFSF has their hands full already so I wouldn't expect them to be able to lend us a hand for awhile.
Regardless, I don't think we should let it alter our plans that much since we can do so little about it. The only reason it was so successful at New Amsterdam is because the Zeeks were engaged in a full scale attack at the same time. Unsupported, it is fairly weak.
Remember, it can only orbital drop on compounds so if we are on the offensive most of the time, we have less to fear.

This is what I see as our best options: Targets: -Mexico City -New York -Constantinople Mexico City is basically the last soft target we got to deprive them of side RP and the other two are of strategic importance as targets of Operation Odessa. Simple right? I don't think Vladivostok is a good option since it's an obvious move. Of course we could try both Mexico City and Vladivostok like in the beginning of the game forcing them to choose to defend one or split their forces... Also there is something I'm curious about Hughendon, I forgot where I read it but apparently it's the only thing slowing down our resupply fleets in the oceans. So what would happen if we took it?

If the EFSF ever get control of Earths orbit even a patrol up there wold be nice, they wouldn't need to destroy it just limit its abilities. As for Mexico city I actually thought of that as a pretty good target also. If we could take it the we would basically be creating a nice big chunk of protected land between North and South America to build a mine(if the rules say we can). And again I'm still all game for Hirsch to get a Himalaya so he can go sub hunting or act as a escort for any prolonged navel battles. Chris has been way to much of a pain in that ass we need to let him know the Krakens are the Namor to his shitty ass Aquaman

Having the EFSF knock it out in orbit would be a dream come true but I don't know if we can expect them to alter their plans to suit us...
Feyd is totes right, though--offense is going to work best for us now. At the very least, we can carpet bomb the living hell out of any base we please.
