I think we should hit either Archangelisk or Vladivostock this week.
I vote for Archangelisk because it is scouted, a softer target, more valuble, and has a more favorable timetable.
Archangelisk Timetable:
Monday 2/8: Golfannon, Himalaya and Big Sioux move to Pacifc. 77th Brigade moves to Atlantic.
Tuesday 2/9: Golfannon, Himalaya, and Big Sioux form a fleet (87th Integrated?), move to East Arctic. 77th holds or moves to Azores.
Wednesday 2/10: 87th moves to Europe, 77th moves to Europe
Thursday 2/11: 87th and 77th attack Archangelisk
Our PC's would be split between these two fleets. I also like this timetable because it allows us some time to repair as well as still allowing us two fleets in case we need to respond to zeon movements.
Thoughts?

I vote for attacking Archangelisk--I think at this point, it's most important that we don't let the Zeeks enjoy their victory too much. Moreover, attack Archangelisk is exactly the type of thing we probably should have been doing all along. As long as they have the Apsalus, it's going to be difficult for us to play defensively.
Unfortunately, the Blue Destiny won't be repaired by Thursday but maybe I could follow y'all into Europe and help neutralize any Zeon counterattack or something like that.

Are you really sure we should be attacking Zeon bases so soon? I would of thought we'd cripple the aspalus as a response to the Zeeks about the destruction of our bases. Or atleast rebuild a base somewhere else, like antartica, and defend it until its up and running and defended good enough to weather an attack.

I'm actually leaning towards the Strikey position on this one, mostly.
We just got hit hard and received a humiliating defeat. We should probably consider focusing on building up a base where such a situation doesn't happen again. I'm not suggesting we crawl up in a hole and wait for the next ass kicking, but we need to stock up on things for us, and either build a new base and focus on making it badass (especially in a key position, as that was, yet not as equipped as it should have been, although that's not our fault as our RP has been going to important things), or utilize the ones we got and sturdy its defenses.
But, on the same token, I like the idea of a coordinated (87th and 77th) attack with the 77th and 87th towards a specific target, sending them a clear message that their attack will not happen again.
We really do need a good, strong victory, guys.
Also, has anyone tried sending a message to Suzaku via PM about his stocked up RP?

Yeah, I agree with Feyd. New Amsterdam was specifically designed to prevent the Zeeks from escaping North America. Since they are out anyway, there's no reason to build another base in the West Arctic.

I agree with Feyd we have to keep momentum going and Archangelisk is a perfect target. About your purchase ideas, I'm going to make a wild guess and say the plan is to bomb the hell out of the place. So my question is all in one assault or a siege? |

Again, voicing my support for Feyd's plan. As much as I'd like to be able to build up some profitable bases, I don't think it's strategically viable if the Zeeks can knock one out in a single fell swoop. Better to go on the attack and force them to play defense, where the Apsalus isn't as effective.
Besides, they're hurting from the attack on New Amsterdam too. Now's a good time to hit them.
