Ok so Latooni's attending to personal business right now, so I figure we should get started on planning so that we're not caught with our pants down if Latooni can't be availble to strategize. The way I understand it, the basic jist of our mission is to sit our fleet in orbit, and mow down HLVs and the like as they attempt to escape Odessa. I'm aware that the ZEF is still in the area, and that Boone's fleet lies in wait in orbit.
I'd like to suggest either splitting off a few minor units to keep the ZEF busy, or perhaps sending balloons at him if we can. Otherwise, the best I can come up with without further input is that we buy more ships/MS and have them follow us in to improve our chances of survival should the ZEF hit us during our HLV shootout. Basically the way I see it, it's really unlikely that the ZEF, even if working in concert with Boone's fleet, can kill our entire fleet in one go. That said, if we can have reinforcement's coming, it may throw a pretty big wrench in such a plan, or at least save us from a second attack.
All that said I'm a terrible strategist, so we all need to get some ideas on the table.

I've also come to the realization that Ridden's fleet should be there as well.

Transfer all RP to one person excluding 75/100 RP.
We buff up our fleet with Saberfish, Balls, and GMs. Day that shit goes down we buy a whole shitload of artillery or flight support.
I'd be willing to be the money spender, but I wont be available Thursday just a heads up.

I like the idea, but we definately need someone who has no scheduling conflicts to be the bank.

True, but I'm not really in charge, we should have some officers in here to help decide who holds the money.

Buying more ships would be out of the question since we just left Luna II. Additional mobile suits could be a problem as is saberfish mainly because we are fully stocked. The reason we didn't buy a shit ton of GMs is because we had pcs already on the fleet so we left room.
You guys are on the right track. We can buy balloons and that will help. Might I suggest we buy better lvel pilots for the npc GMs? It would help our chances in combat.
Zero you are right about Ridden but we also have the Luna II fleet in Earth's orbit. I suspect we will be getting some kind of help from them. I'm going to try and aquire some maps from ket from the practice if it is possible so we can look at them and determine what will work and what Chan did so we can learn from the mistakes and achievements from both Lat and Chan.

So buy balloons, better npcs, and spare rp for support. Aside from that, after we buy the better npcs, LETS RP THEM. I already have an idea for one. Helps them survive longer. In the ground forces I had a Lvl2 or 3 npc make it all the way to Lvl5 named simply because I rped the heck out of her. RPED NPCS last longer. Heck just giving them a name increases their odds of making it back.

Itchy-I 21 Duke- J 22 Orc-J 24 Ogre-J 25 Boss- I 23 Sulafat-H 20
3 publics+1- I 25 and I 26
Guys please help me with the deployment because this is a motherfucker. Also could you guys decide where to place the ships from the Luna II fleet? I would really like that if you guys could help me.

I'm new to this sorta thing, but here's my opinion.
Have unit 2 and 3 flank the enemy, and distract with ms combat. Unit 1 leads a charge from the rear, firing long range missiles and MPCs. Magellans are heavy hitters, and the publics should help.
If I know more about the situation I could help out more, but this is my first Odessa, so cut me some slack.
Unit1 Intimidator: L28 Immolator: M28 3 x Public
Unit 2 Nagahara: Q22 Stockholm II: Q25 STS-94: R24 2 x Public:
Unit 3 Vengeance: L18 Glory: K17 Griffin: N18 Bellophorn: P18 STS-38: L16 STS-21: J16

The overall scope of your plan is fine. However The zeeks will have the advantage of surprise so flanking them will be problematic since they will appear at Chan's choosing. We have to be able to formulate a plan on the go. Here is my options for Luna II Fleet.
Intimidator(Magellan Revised)-C17 Immolator(Magellan)-C21 Griffin(Magellan)-D20 Stockholm II(Salamis Revised)-D18 Glory(Salamis Kai)-D16
Vengeance(Salamis Kai)-N14 STS-21(Columbus)-N12 STS-38(Columbus)-M13
STS-94(Columbus B Type (R))-F12 Nagahara(Salamis)- E11 Bellophorn(Salamis)-E13
1st group will control everything to the north on the map. They are going to have plenty of fire power. 2nd group will act be involved in the HLV killing part of the battle with the Duke and the Itchy. 3rd group will act as a second supply for the fleet. I haven't determined how I will move these pieces as the battle unfolds.
Sound good?

I'm not sure if I have much to add on deployment, but I feel we should have at least one ship pointing it's cannons opposite the rest in each unit, so that it can be ready in case a ship spawns on that side. I suggest we buy enough balloons for a unit, and use an artillery support with them, to confuse Chan(if possible). And I agree that we should buy an name npc pilots(I needed to buy one for Samantha anyway...)

All ships when they deployed are required to point east on the map regardless. So we have to make do and try and manuever carefully and stay frosty.
As for the services I think the balloons would be waste since chan would know which ships were balloons and which were not. The balloon trick would be more useful if we had purchased with the ships a week ago. I think if Lat and myself could do it all over again we would have done that. But ohwell. We will buy 2 artillery barrages and use that on targets of opportunity. I think we may reserve those for Ridden and his ship.

Sounds good, I'm willing to go toe-to-toe with Ridden if it comes to it, I think that either myself or the Gundam is the best bet to fight him, and honestly, my Guncannon is faster and more heavily armed.
