If you want to put the Gwazine on the table, it seems to me to only be fair to put what it's worth on your side. And since it's in the shop, we know how much it's worth. Less than half it's normal price for the ship and an officer? Seems a bit low to me.

My point was that you're asking for way too much for Chan by himself.
And considering how cheap your ships are, I'd say this was a bargain.

Except the RP involved shouldn't be based around what we can buy, it should based around what we're selling, which is a more expensive ship.
Of course if the EFSF boys disagree, I'll defer to them, but it still seems like a low offer to me.

500 for just Chan by himself.
or
2,000 for Chan and the ship. Two different deals.

We're not talking about the price of the ship, we're talking about the price you're asking for for Chan.
1,000-2,000 RP is an outrageous request for one officer.

Exactly. The amount you're asking for right now is absurdly high for one officer.
I can't remember the amounts asked for last run when someone got captured, but it was not even in the ballpark of quadruple digits.

The new offer is 1,200rp for Chan. Were not changing the offer after this. He makes close to a 1,000 each week this is something he can stomach. As for the Gwazine, their is no negotiating for it. It will stay in Federation hands.

He's equal to a L4 crew, which is 600 RP, so I think what we're asking for is more reasonable. To turn what Goufcustom said back on you:

If he were equal to a level 5 crew, then I'd be more amenable to your offer. More to the point, the EFSF makes more than Chan combined in one week, so how much he makes should not be a factor here.

He is bringing in more rp then any pilot in the EFSF pilot brings in a single week. No pilot in EFSF makes close to 1k rp a week. If chan was bringing in anywhere from 275(I think that is what zeek officers make) to 400 rp I might agree with you for the 600 rp offer. He is bringing in enough to almost buy one Musai a week.

Doesn't change the offer. 600 RP. I'd be willing to entertain 700, but no higher.
