Dizzy stood at the librarian's simple grave, he had been the scholars mentor, teacher and if Dizzy had met him, friend. It was inexcusable what had been done to him, callously murdered in broad daylight and left to rot in the streets. Dizzy's looked, disgusted at the villagers around him...to leave him broken and picked at as carrion unburied until the very perpetrator of the crime was offered a reward to bury his own victim. Dizzy shrugged, murder in the streets legal, so long as it wasn't in their own home, what sort of ridiculous mayor would make a law like that, though considering the town had made it's mayor a goat, it shouldn't have surprised him. "Old man Jenkins, time to answer for your deed!" Dizzy shouted at the bent old man he encountered on the street. Neither magician wasted any time slinging spells of fire and metal scorching the ground nearby. Nearby the citizen's of Eco watch the spectacle with cheers of excitement and joy, it was quite the performance. The battle made little headway on either side until Dizzy made a risky move for any magician, he closed the distance between the two. Old man Jenkins smiled wryly at his younger and more foolish opponent. "Buckshot" He shouted, metal pellets flying from his hand. However, they were stopped mid flight as it was Dizzy's turn to smile the old man hadn't kept up with the times, his spell had been canceled by the young mage's void. "but...how." Old Man Jenkins muttered a stifled response as the young mage grabbed his face. "progress." Dizzy spoke as he released his bright flash spell on the old men, sending him tumbling head over heels through the street. After the dust settled, Dizzy was met with cheers from the crowd who seemed to find the whole fight to be a delightful show, disgusted once more, Dizzy wandered off not realizing he hadn't finished off his opponent. Outcome: Dizzy is triumphant Old Man Jenkins: -10 HP (FNT), -20 MP, +20 SP Dizzy: -10 HP, -40 MP, +30 SP |
