Terror in the farmlands! Panic in the fields! Frightened and angry agriculture specialists running hither and thither without a plan of action in mind! Doomsday had seemingly come to the farmland in the form of a vicious, destructive Herd of Buffalo! The herd had strode onto the farmlands, malice undoubtedly in their hearts as they stalked across the fields in search of food. They brayed gently, likely coordinating a pincer attack on some poor soul who was too close to them as the wrong time. Each member of the herd lowered its head to the ground. Trying to hide? Maybe acting casual? None of the farmers knew. They only knew that they were now living in Hell on Earth. The buffalo continued to mill about slowly, noses to the ground to sniff out their prey. All eyes were upon them, desperately waiting for the moment where they would have to futilely defends their homes and families from the buffalo menace. That awful, sinister buffalo herd... One of the buffalo suddenly reared its head into the air, braying loudly as it spat a rock into the air. Panic began against as many of the farmers abandoned everything to begin running for the lake or the village, giving up all to save themselves. The buffalo licked its sore jaw where it had accidentally bitten a rock and went back to grazing like the rest of the herd. Soon enough, all the buffalo were well fed, not a single empty tummy among them, and they began to leave, taking a few blades for a snack later. For the farmers, it was a miracle. The fields of useless grass and weeds were decimated - some estimated it would take as long as days for them to grow back - but they still had each other and their useful crops to get them through this period of chaos and unrest. Outcome: Herd of Buffalo is triumphant. Herd of Buffalo: -10 HP, Even Greener Grass (Food, MP) |
