India was the prime target, as it was already trapped within the web of Japanese conquest. It would also be clear of Western Asia which Germany had seized control. Mumbai, it’s capital, was the last stand for India’s chance as a true nation. It fell, and in it’s ashes, Japan built yet another of it’s fortresses.
