Wheeeeee

So, I didn’t get as much done yesterday as I would have liked due to circumstances beyond my control. I did mostly finish a list of what will be available as starting mobile suits as well as pumped out the first write-up of the story. I might change things about it depending on what sort of feedback I get from some people among other things. I plan on looking over the rules as well to see if there was anything I forgot to add/change/whatever. Still working on the rank and paygrade thing. As it stands for the beginning of the RPG we will be landlocked. Yes there are space colonies. Yes there are space ships. No, there is not any fighting in space at this time. As explained in the story, there is a treaty in place which basically prohibits fighting around the colonies (and people are actually following it, for now.) All of that said what happens in the future of the RPG is really going to be up to the players. The staff writes the story, but it is the actions of the players which guide it. Through the course of the RPG you will be offered various missions by your chosen faction, some of these more important than others and some of them might actually be more important than they seem and will have a long last impact on their war-effort. You’ll also notice when you see the unit lists that certain factions might seem ‘better’ or have ‘less’ to start off with then others. This is because over the course of the RPG technology will actually evolve, in some cases a faction might (for example) start off using Strike Daggers and then somehow evolve technologically into Gundam 0083 GM’s. Anyways, I’d better get back to work now.

Edit: Oh, one last thing, there might be times when missions or special circumstance actually carry you into space early. Yeah. Also, just because there is not any fighting in space at the moment does not mean you cannot come from the Colonies or Luna as a character.
