Joining is open. With conditions. Until I say otherwise, Officers on each side are capped at 3 and Test Pilots at 2. The RPG wont function so well without Enlisted. Also, I linked the chat and stuff. Woohoo.

Yes, we’re still alive. I’m just working on the fleets and decided and to (mostly) take a break this weekend because, well, I felt like doing other shit. I’ll be back to working tomorrow.
So, all the bases are complete. I wasn’t even going to come close to opening the RPG without finishing all the bases because I know how much of a pain that can be for players. So! All the bases are up, which means that all that is left is to cycle through the fleets and place them and all that jazz while reading through the rules and we’ll be open once all of that is done. Oh. I also updated WordPress today and nothing broke. Yay!
So. Africa and Middle East is complete which leaves us with only a handful of bases left. Once the rest of the bases are completed and the fleets are done I’m going to go over the rules and check things out on that side as well as add and remove some things. Enjoy. Also, feel free to register on the forum.
Also, the joining list has been updated thanks to the help of Nomad. Kthx.
More bases have been added and the name of the Holy European Empire has been dropped to just The European Empire. Holy European Empire rolled off the tongue kind of funny and The European Empire was the original name of the faction anyways. Holy was just tacked on there because of the Holy Roman Empire, but meh, didn’t sound as good. Also, Nader’s agreed to make a more comprehensive list of starter suits and shoot it my way when he has time (Since I forgot quite a bit that could easily fit in). Enjoy something not-gundam for once, but still full of giant robots.
I forgot how long the base adding process is. Me and Hime are working on it together now though and lots of bases are being finished. Nothing much left to say. Once the bases and fleets are finished the game will be pretty much done.
Ohshi! The RPG is actually almost done. This project has taken alot less time then was ever expected. Seriously. I thought it would take at least 3 weeks or so to get everything laid out, but I’ve been worked like a slave and allowed to do basically nothing else but work on the RPG for the past several days and the damn thing is almost finished. Given as I’ve taken a liking to post YouTube videos in EVERY DAMN POST, here you go. We will be open for business by the 10th at the latest.
So. I’ve gotten some questions regarding the nature of the RPG. To clarify on somethings. Yes, the primary focus is on mass-produced suits. There will be a list of starter-suits which you can choose based on your faction and what path you choose to take in that faction. Yes, there will be customization via upgrades and the shop. Yes, you will be allowed to change units as more comes out. Yes, you will be allowed to have a squad. No, the pay for each rank is generally not exactly the same across each faction. Pay will also likely fluctuate based upon how well your side is doing in the war. Naturally, officers make a shitload of money, and the command structure makes even more. There had been talk about whether or not certain prototype units were too powerful and how upgrades with prototypes would be handled. Upgrades for Test Pilots are not strictly locked at 100XP, sometimes test pilots will get upgrades earlier. Test Pilots can also be forced out of their unit if the government feels they are doing a poor job or that the project is no longer worthwhile. In the event that this happens, they will be given a new unit to test. There will be fleets to fight, and fleets that will fight themselves without any player interaction. This is to give a feel that a war is actually happening. The world will not stop and wait for players, though the actions of players will be carefully considered when it comes to fleet and force movement. Fleets will attempt to siege enemy bases if the right conditions are met. Average repair time will be between 1-3 days unless you do something REALLY STUPID or are involved in a MASSIVE BATTLE. There has also been talk among the staff of a ‘random mission’ system.
