The Augusta Base is located on the northern shore of the Clark Hill Reservoir in modern-day South Carolina, not far from Augusta, Georgia.  A secret of the American Union, Augusta Base is where the Union conducts research. On people. To what end is presently unknown, half of the installation is underground while the public half remains above ground.
