Beijing Mine
As a traditional Chinese symbol, the Japanese Empire made special note to crush Beijing in a fashion far greater than was needed. Siege and slaughter ensued, and no longer is there a city where Beijing now stands. It is now known as the Beijing Mine, a useful place of obtaining resources, but of no vital importance. It is more of a symbol of the might of the times.
