An improved version of the Neue Ziel II, the NZ III mounts a larger variety of heavy weapons reminicent of the original model to allow for greater destructive force on the battlefield. This includes a large number of missiles and additional vulcan guns. The arms have not only been increased in number, but can be detached and used as remote weapons should the pilot so desire. The Sturm Booster from the original model also makes a return to the design and functions largely as it did before, mounting additonal thrusters and propellant. It can optionally arm a pair of large anti-ship missiles for long-range strikes against ships or other large targets.
