The base known as D.O.M.E. has lasted the Interregenum in relatively functional condition, despite damage incurred during the Corporate War era. It has more or less repaired itself to operational status, and is quite capable of dispatching intruders with it’s G-Bits.

Both ZAFT and the SRA would love to get their hands on D.O.M.E., but every attempt has resulted in mass casualties. The ESA and HRL have also tried, as their respective militaries are concerned by the firepower fielded by the AF’s few original specification Gundam Xes.
